"I Am He"

I am He who does not grow tired or weary, and my understanding no one can fathom. I am He who gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. I am He who sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. I am He who stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in. I am He who brings princes to naught and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing.

For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

I am He the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet I do not leave the guilty unpunished; I punish the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.

I am He the LORD your God who is a merciful God; I will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your forefathers, which I confirmed to them by oath. For I, your God am God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.

I am He who is your God and the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory. For I am He who is a sun and shield; I bestows favor and honor; no good thing do I withhold from those whose walk is blameless. For blessed is the man who trusts in me. I am He who declares that no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me.

I am He whose every word is flawless; I am a shield to those who take refuge in me. And I am able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. For I am He whose word is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

I am He who is love. Whoever lives in love lives in me, and I in him. I am He who dwells with men, and I will live with them. They will be my people, and I myself will be with them and be their God. I am He whose is the LORD your God and I am with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. I take great delight in you; in my love I will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.

I, even I, am he who comforts you. For I am the LORD your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar the LORD Almighty is my name. I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand. I am He who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, 'You are my people.'

I am He who chose you before time began for this place and time. I am He the LORD, have called you in righteousness. I am He who is the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.

I am He who no longer calls you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit fruit that will last and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

I am He who will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. I the LORD your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands. I am He who will again delight in you and make you prosperous. You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

I am He who has empowered you with my powerful Holy Spirit. I am He who gives you the grace to resist the Devil by the blood and the word of your testimony. I am He who gives you the victory to be more than conquers. I am He who told you that if you believe you would see the glory of God.

I am He whose manifested Holy Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through my Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by my Holy Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of my Holy Spirit, who distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

These verses are but a small sampling of what it is to read God's Word in the GOD-TENSE. It is taking what is said about God's love, power and awesomeness and declaring it as if God himself said it. For God's Word is true and God is true to His Word. And if God's Word is true then ALL things that the prophets and the holy men of the Bible have declared God to be is the same as if God said it about Himself...GOD-TENSE! When you read His Word this way it adds an additional dimension to God's Word!

I am He who is with you always, to the very end of the age. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do.
