Immortality and The Kingdom of the Cults

by Roy Francois
11/29/2016 / Bible Studies

In continuing our study of end-time scribes we now come to a book I found to be the most creative in exulting man above God or placing man in the seat of God as God. This book is titled "The Kingdom of the Cults" its authored by William Martin, edited by, Ravi Zacharias. This book exposes the false doctrines of cults; Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Science, the Mormons, and many other cults. It does a good job of exposing the evils of certain cults, but in the process, it exposes itself as an even more dangerous source of deception as the other cults it exposes.

First, I believe the author of this book is an excellent researcher and writer, I believe the book is well put together, this is what grabbed my attention when I first picked it up. But as I continue to read, the book begins to try to drag me into an unsound and dangerous doctrine, one that places man in the seat of Christ. What happened is, in trying to prove Jehovah's Witness wrong in their denial of eternal torment and to prove the natural immortality of man, they would go beyond that J.W. did In order to prove the Jehovah' Witnesses wrong they would have to first prove the immortality of the soul because the only way for a soul be tormented forever is for it to be immortal. Now this immortality of man is not scriptural but is a Luciferian teaching. Man, as an immortal being is not scriptural. Before we go any further, let's go back to the Book of Genesis and see what it has to say about the immortality of man:

"And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever:" [Genesis 3:22] KJV Here the word of God makes it very clear that something must be done so that the man does not become immortal and live forever. It's clear that the man is not immortal or there would be no need for this discussion amongst the Holy Trinity. If the man was created immortal, then this verse of scripture makes no sense. And if man is eternal soul as Mr. Martin states, then surely, there is a contradiction here. In his book "The Kingdom of the Cults" Mr. Martin claim that man is Eternal Spirit. But God in his explanation to the man of what death is informs him: "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." [Genesis 3:19]

God explain to Adam that he is no Eternal Spirit, that he's dust, and will return to the dust from which he came. The only way man keeps from returning to dust is to be made a member of the Family of God, which is life. But if man refuses the gift of life, he must return to the dust from which he came. God offers the man either immortality or none existence. Where is the condemnation of eternal torture? If God intended to torture the man in flames of fire without a moment's relief throughout all eternality, surely a loving Father would warn his child of this most terrible outcome at the outset. If you've ever witnessed someone on fire you know it's a most terrible sight.

The pain and agony, the suffering, the begging for help, and this only last for a few moments if the person is lucky enough to fall unconscious and dies. For the person to have to go through it without it ever ending or without even a moment's relief is just not in agreement with the loving Father I've come to know from His Word. Why would not God inform the man of this terrible faith when he described the man's state after death when this just might have been the very thing, this fear, that might have kept him from sinning? Some things are not adding up here. In order to teach the immortality of the soul or that man as Eternal spirit, you must place man on the Throne of God as God. I wonder if Mr. Martin even realize that this desire in man to sit in the seat of God as his own God is what caused his fall in the Garden of Eden.

If the man had eaten of the "tree of life" instead of the tree of death, he would have become immortal but never eternal. Even if he had eaten from the tree of life after sinning he still would become immortal and in that case, would have to spend his never-ending life in a never-ending prison called hell. But the man never ate of the Tree of Life so at what point did this mortal man become immortal? The immortality or Eternal existence of man according to Mr. Martin: "In this study of modern American cults and minority religious movements as found in his text these also believe, Dr. Charles Braden, emeritus professor at Northwestern University, and coauthor John C. Shaffer, lecturer and visiting professor at Scripps College, made a number of observations with which this writer agrees. In regard to the term cult, for instance, Dr. Braden states:

By the term cult I mean nothing derogatory to any group so classified. A cult, as I define it, is any religious group which differs significantly in one or more respect as a belief or practice from those religious groups which are regarded as the normative expressions of religion in our culture." "I may add this that a cult might also defined as a group of people gather about a specific person or person's misinterpretation of the Bible." Page 17 of [The Kingdom of the Cult; Walter Martin] In the quote above of Mr. Martin's definition of cult went far beyond Dr. Charles Braden's, Mr. Martin's definition includes any group that misinterpret the bible.

My question to Mr. Martin would be, which bible is he referring too, as I stated in my article "Lucifer's Relentless Attack on the Word of God" there are two bibles, one derived from the Minority Text the other from the Majority Text. These two bibles contradict each other, so, at this point Mr. Martin does not inform us as to which bible he's referring too, from which Text. He starts out in a bit of confusion here, before we can compare any cult to the word of God we must first determine which bible is the Word of God. As an example of the difference in the two bibles, let's look at the second commandment in the two:

One Bible's Second Commandment Created from the Majority Text "Exodus 20:4-6 You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my Commandments."

The other Bible's Second Commandment Created from the Minority Text "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain." One bible condemns the worship of the teachings of the other bible, in fact, this other bible bow down and pray to and worship the very beings the other bible condemns as demons. Which one of these bibles does Mr. Martin considers to be the Word of God? There are too many bibles out there that contradict each other to just say, the bible. Since Mr. Martin has expanded the definition of cult to include all groups that misinterpret the bible, I don't understand how he could over-look the Mother of all Cults [the Catholic Church] and go straight to the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Had he left the definition as Braden's he could maybe make a case for leaving the mother of all cults out of the equation. But by adding his own definition, he must include the mother of all cults and her bible that greatly misinterprets the Word of God. The other cults are the daughters of this cult, the bible derived from the Majority Text refer to as the "Mother of Harlots" she is the monarch of all the others cults that Mr. Martin discusses in his book "The Kingdom of the Cults." Man the Soul, His Nature and Destiny [The Kingdom of the Cults p. 128-129]:

"Any critical thinker in examining this problem cannot escape the confusion of terms utilized by Jehovah's Witnesses to substantiate their argument that the soul is not an eternal entity. To carry this argument to any great length is foolish, for the Hebrew word [nephesh] and the Greek word [phyche] possess great areas of meaning impossible to fathom without exhaustive exegesis of the original source. The root of the problem lies in Jehovah's Witnesses' misconception of the soul as merely a principle of life, not an entity. The bible clearly teaches in numerous places [Genesis 35:18; 1 Kings 17:21-22; Revelation 6:9-11, to state few] that the soul departs at the death of the body, that it is not destroyed by physical death, it can be destroyed by God at His discretion." [Emphasis Added]

Here Martin is correct in stating that the soul does depart the physical body at death, he even makes the statement that that soul can be destroyed. If the soul can be destroyed then it's mortal, as we shall see, Mr. Martin contradicts himself throughout his exegetical study. "In an exegetical study, it is impossible to overemphasize the importance of defining terms. Therefore, before we can decide who or what the term immortality itself means. Due to the evolution of any language, we must realize that the area of meanings of words changes as time goes on. The English word immortality has, among others, a peculiar meaning of "not mortal." However, in most circles and in theology, the word generally carries the meaning of "exemption from death."

The question that will arise, then, is "When the scripture use the term immortal, is this definition all that is meat?" Contrary to the belief of some, there is nothing in Scripture that can be given to show that man, or his soul is immortal." Here's Mr. Martin's play on the word immortality: "The English word immortality has, among others, a peculiar meaning of "not mortal." However, in most circles and in theology, the word generally carries the meaning of "exemption from death." How is "not mortal" any different from "exemption from death?" here's the trick; Mr. Martin claims that in theology the word has a different meaning. How can theologians take it upon themselves to give words a different meaning than what was originally intended? Who gives them the authority to change the meaning of words?

Here Mr. Martin help prove my point that it's the great end-time scribes, the theologians who the world sees as enlighten men and women, the "learned" who are blatantly corrupting the Word of God. See my article "Lucifer's Relentless Attack on the Word of God" I think we had better look up the meaning of the word mortal for ourselves instead of letting the end-time scribes [theologians] define the word for us: Cambridge Dictionary: [of living things, esp. people] unable to continue living forever; having to die: Humans are mortal and all eventually die. As the ship began to sink, they realize they were in mortal danger [=they might die]. We know what the word mortal means, we will not allow the end-time scribes [theologians] to redefine the word for us. "To take it one step further, there is nothing in Scripture that states anything or anyone is immortal but God himself. Let us analyze this problem." Here it seems that Mr. Martin has forgotten that he is trying to prove that, not only is God eternal, but that man is also eternal. One thing is sure, Mr. Martin has run into a problem here. We can be sure that at this point Mr. Martin went into a search of scripture to find any evidence of man being is an eternal being to prove his point. What was the results of his search, his findings? In his own words: "there is nothing in Scripture that states anything or anyone is immortal but God himself." In his own words, he admits he's run into a problem: "Let us analyze this problem."

The man states that nothing in scripture states anything or anyone is immortal but God. Since he found no evidence in scripture to prove that man is an eternal being, any supposedly evidence he comes up with must be from his own imagination. Now Mr. Martin goes on, I thought, to prove his case that man is an eternal being, but the more I read the more I had to ask, who's point is he's trying to prove, his or Jehovah's Witnesses'? "There are two words in the Greek text that translated "Immortality." The first is athanasia-it appears three times and is translated "immortality" each time. The other term is aphthartos-it is translated "immortality" twice and incorruption four times." Now let us examine the use of these words. The former word, athanasian is used in 1 Timothy 6:16 and is speaking of God, "who only hath immortality [athanasian], dwelling in light which no man can approach unto." In 1 Corinthians 15:52-54, we again have athansian used twice, but in the same verse we have aphthartos used twice also. Paul hereis speaking of the second coming of Christ, and declares [v. 35], "For corruption this corruption must put on incorruption [aphtharsian] and this mortal must put on immortality [athanasian]." And [v. 54] "so when this corruptible shall have put on [aorist middle] subjunctive of the verb [enduo] incorruption [aphtharsian], and this mortal shall have put on immortality [athanasian], than shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, death is swallowed up in victory" [emphasis added]. We see here that in the two places where athanasian is used in reference to man, its is clear that it is an immortality to be given in the future, not one possessed at the present time." [Emphasis added]

After reading this admission I thought Mr. Martin would see the error of his ways and denounce this false doctrine, I really thought this is what he was leading too. But he continued in his mission to deceive himself and others: Similarly, when an aphtharsian is used here and in romans 2:7, "seek for" and Peter1:4, "reserved in heaven for you, it is speaking the incorruption of man to be given at some future date, not possessed at the present time. Only when immortality or incorruption is used with God, is it in the present tense [1 Timothy 1:17; 6:16; Romans 1:23]. Therefore, to say that the saints are immortal [if by immortality we mean athanasian or aphtharsian], we are not scriptural. We must say the saints will be immortal. It is also plain to see in 1 Corinthians 15:53-54 that this mortality [athanasian] and this incorruption [aphtharsian] will be put on [endusasthe] as tone puts on a garment.

Just as Paul exhorts us to put on [endusasthe] Christ [Romans 13:14; Galatians 3:27], the armor of light [Romans 13:12], the new man [Ephesian 4:24], and the armor or panoply of God [Ephesian 6:11], we must conclude then that athanasian or aphtharsian a larger and broader meaning than to be "everlasting." [Emphasis Added] Now we come back to the word game that Mr. Martin started out with to convince us that mortal means something other than mortal because theologians define it differently than everybody else, somehow immortality and being exempted from death means entirely two different things. The perfect example of self-appointed theologians changing word meaning to change the Word of God. He's not yet finished redefining words in order to attempt to prove an unprovable and unsound doctrine. It must be seen, therefore, that immortality and incorruption, when given, will mean a change, not simply the giving and receiving of an attribute- "exemption from death." Jehovah's Witness have badly misconstrued the usage of immortality, and that error, coupled with their famous practice of term-switching, has resulted in confusion and poor exegesis."

Mr. Martin accurse the Jehovah's Witness of term-switching, well what in the world was that he just did. After contradicting himself so badly, he now tells us we must conclude, without him giving us any evidence that athanasian or aphtharsian have a larger and broader meaning than "everlasting." We must conclude! We must conclude nothing of the sort, unless we do what he and all the so-called great theologians, the end-times scribes do, redefine words to change the Word of God to seat man in the seat of God as God. Now after going on this long spill, it seems that either Mr. Martin or the editor realize that this really refute his argument of man being an Eternal Being, he must now redefine the word "Eternal" to make it fit his unsound doctrine. Let us look up in the dictionary the definition of the word "Eternal" before its redefined by Mr. Martin: "without beginning or end; lasting forever; always existing [opposed to temporal.]

Now watch as Mr. Martin as makes a feeble attempt to redefine the word, as expected of end-time new age scribes. "BEWARE OF THE SCRIBES" "Now, as to the eternity of the human soul, we must consult the existing language sources. When we use the term eternal in association with of man, we mean that the human soul after its creation by God will [future] exist somewhere into the eternal, into the everlasting. Since there is only one place where the honest seeker can find pure information on the eternal existence of the soul, and that place is in the revelation that God, who created the soul, has given to man, His Word, let us turn to it and consider therein His revealed will." Here Mr. Martin says he's referring to man's eternal existence in the future after his creation by God. But there is no eternal future without an eternal pass, eternality must include the pass, present and future. If there is no eternal pass, then there is no eternality. For man to be an Eternal Being he would have to be God.

That's why those who claim to be Eternal Soul places themselves in the seat of God as God!! Many claims that it was Plato who is responsible the spread of this doctrine of devils, but it was not Plato, it was not Egypt, it was not even Babylon, it was from Lucifer himself, before any earthly government came into existence. This belief that man is eternal and divine, or God, is the result of the promise of Lucifer to man in the Garden of Eden: "Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD GOD had made. And he said unto the woman, yea, hath God said, ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden: And the woman said unto the serpent, we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall yet touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely die. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as the gods, knowing good and evil." [Gen 3:1-5]

This is where man's quest to seat himself in the seat of God as God began. Fruit in scripture symbolizes spirits and man's activities, what use they made of the life that God has given them. Jesus said "you will know them by their fruit" Jesus was certainly not telling His disciples to judge people by how many apples or bananas they have in their homes. In the same way, He was telling Adam to not get caught up in the fruit, the activity of the evil one or it will surely lead you to death, his fruit, his activity is death. The fruit of Lucifer is the spirit of Lucifer, the spirit of self-exultation, the spirit of desiring to be "like the Most High." This is the spirit that was passed on to man once he got himself caught up in the spirit of Lucifer's religion, the religion of the occult; to "be like the Most-High" to be Eternal, to be God.

Notice the difference between the spirit of Lucifer and that of Jesus who was like the Most-High. Whereas Lucifer exulted himself and intended to ascend to the Throne of God, Jesus humbled himself and descended, left is Throne in heaven and took on the form of lowly man and became a servant. When anyone claims to be eternal, its proof that that person's soul has been invaded by the spirit of Lucifer, that person concurs with Lucifer, "I will be like the Most-High." ETERNAL! Don't fall for the con-game of the end-times scribes, you are not Eternal, not divine, not immortal, not God and not like the Most-High: "Let the wicket forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways, my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." [Isaiah 55:7-9]

Many people are caught up in the occult and don't even know it, to believe and teach that man is immortal and Eternal is the very foundation on which Lucifer/Satan has built his evil kingdom: "I will be like the Most-High" and you shall be like the Most-High, to "be as the Gods," and together, we shall ascend to the Throne of God and seat ourselves in the seat of God as God. This is what Lucifer says to the man or woman he has captured through his occult teachings of the natural immortality of man. You see why, even though Mr. Martin proved beyond any doubt from scripture that there is nothing anywhere in scripture that anything or anyone is Eternal but God, he still couldn't let go of the desire to seat man in the seat of God as God. The spirit of Lucifer is a powerful spirit and those who fall under its power are not wise no matter how many letters they have behind their name or how much praise the world heaps on them. "The word of God came to me again saying, son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, thus says the Lord God: "Because your heart is lifted up, and you say, I'm a god, I sit in the seat of gods, [in the sides of the north] in the mist of the sea, yet you are a man, and not a god, though you set your heart as the heart of a god.

Behold, you are wiser than Daniel! There's no secret that can be hidden from you! With your wisdom and your understanding, you have gained riches for yourself, and gathered gold and silver into your treasuries; by your great wisdom in trade you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches." [Ezekiel 28:1-5] "BEWARE OF THE SCRIBES" I'm not defending the Jehovah's Witness or any other cult that Mr. Martin exposes because mostly I agree with his assessment of them. I'm not affiliated with any cult or Christian Denomination, I follower Christ and his teaching, but I will not swear allegiance to any man-made creed. Even though, as Mr. Martin inadvertently proved through scripture, that man is not an Eternal Being, there's the other extreme that we must guard against. It is the position that Jehovah's Witness adhere too, that there is no conciseness in the first death.

They reach this conclusion mainly from Psalms 146:4: "His breath goeth fort, he returns to his earth; in that very day, his thoughts perish." [Psalms 146:4] Even though King David was a great servant and anointed king of God, he didn't know the complete plan of God for man's salvation and probably knew nothing of consciousness in the first death, he probably didn't even know there would be two deaths. Not only did David not know, but I don't think you'll find any prophet of God in the Old Testament that knew of consciousness in the first death, and how could they when this part of God's plan for man had not yet been revealed. It would be the Messiah, the Son of God, Jesus who would stun his disciple with this great news: "Martha saith unto Him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believe in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" [John 11:24-26] Imagine, if you will, how stunned Martha and the disciple of the Lord must have been, no man has ever spoke like this man. No Old Testament prophet of God and not even King David had ever heard of this seemingly impossible plan of God for man. It could only be revealed by the Messiah, there is no death of unconsciousness in Christ. Those who believe in God never die, not even the Old Testament prophets who had never heard of this wonderful news, because it had not yet been revealed.

The Lord went on to prove to his disciple the fact of His statement: "And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray. And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias." [Luke 9:28-30] Holdup, wait a minute, stop the music, aren't these men supposed to be dead? But wait, didn't the Lord say that those who believe in Him shall never die? This is beyond anything King David had ever heard "you shall never die" and how could he when it hadn't been revealed yet. Men take one verse of scripture, lift it out of its context and build a whole false doctrine around it.

That's the other extreme, those who teach that there is no consciousness in the first death are not teaching from the word of God. Those are the two extremes, one that man is Eternal like the Most-High God, and the other that man's consciousness ceases to exist at the first death. "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; he that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death." [Rev 2:11] Yes' Mr. Martin do have a problem, if as he states that man is an Eternal Being, that could only mean that the man existed in heaven before coming to earth. Though either Mr. Martin or the editor tried to walk back his earlier statement a bit, that man is an Eternal Being after realizing that the Word of God does not support their false doctrine, in the end they still held to the belief that man is an Eternal Being on some level. This is actually the same belief of the Mormons who Mr. Martain claims is a dangerous cult for holding such beliefs. "The plan of the parent gods in Mormonism goes like this:

"Life for you did not begin here on earth. You lived before you were born you will live on in the spirit world after your mortal life is ended." "We all once lived in the presence of God the eternal father. In the world before you were a spirit child of his. With this divine parentage, your destiny, through righteous living, is to become like your Father in Heaven and return to his presence" (The Purpose of Life Pamphlet handed out at the Temple on BYU campus). "In your life before birth, before the earth was created God presented a plan to his children for their advancement. You were free to accept or reject this plan of salvation. Those spirit children who accepted his plan were given the opportunity to live on earth; those who rejected his plan were not privileged to enter mortality" (The Purpose of Life Pamphlet handed out at the Temple on BYU campus). "Before time began the soul was without a body, an archetype, the heavenly man pure in spirit in paradise, yet longing after the archetype, God. Some of the pure spirits descended into bodies and lost their purity" (Plato and the Stoics philosophy). At the root of most all cults is the belief that Lucifer was correct when he states that God lied when He states that man is mortal.

No matter whatever else they teach, the occult teaches the basic doctrine on which Lucifer/the snake has built his church and rebellion. That is the God is a liar and men will never die, this is the religion of Lucifer, this is the lie that caused man's fall and his separation from God. This cannot be over stated; the goal of Lucifer/Satan is to get you to call God a liar to His face as he did in the Garden of Eden. "ye shall not surely die, for do know that in the day you eat thereof, your eyes shall be opened; ye shall be as the Gods." [Satan] Let's look at the core belief of another cult that Mr. Martin has exposed Christian Science: "Bearing in mind that the word "God" signifies the one self-existent, divine Principle, Mind, Spirit, Love, constituting the source and very substance or being of man and the universe, we can recognize that the divine nature belongs not only to God, Mind, but to man and to everything else that God, Mind, conceives of." "Temporary existence with its inevitable beginning and ending does not satisfy us and does not represent real Life, Mind, God, Spirit.

But God, our divine, infinite, self-existence, or Life, can have no beginning or ending and must from the very nature of infinity be expressing Himself forever. Therefore, as we consider the proposition of Christian Science that man in his true being represents or reflects God, we are obliged to admit the immortality of man and of all things, because the divine Principle of man and of everything exists with no "beginning of days, nor end of life," and can of necessity be represented only according to that divine and infinite nature. " "Let it be repeated, Christian Science is the healing system of pure Christianity. The understanding of the fact of man's immortality is primal and indispensable in demonstrating this Science. Putting the fact in an understandable way, we are justified in saying that health must be primarily divine rather than material or merely human. We cannot conceive of the ever-living otherwise than as never dying, which means that no destructive element could form any part of the conception of man or creation by the divine Mind.

Health, or spiritual wholeness, is thus seen to characterize man as well as God. Health is the nature of man, because man as revealed in this Science represents, expresses, or reflects God. Health is not material, neither is immortality a theory. Scientifically speaking, immortality and health are the facts of our existence." [Bicknell Young, C.S.B., of Chicago, Illinois Member of the Board of Lectureship of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, September 23, 1937] [Emphasis Added] This is the very doctrine of Mr. Martin, that man is God or divine, the only difference is that Mr. Young didn't attempt to redefine the word "Eternal" to make it fit his false doctrine, he created a false doctrine around the word. But both, Mr. Young and Mr. Martin are presenting the same false doctrine that God lied and that the snake was being truthful when said God was lying when God warned the man that he was mortal and could die.

"BEWARE OF THE SCRIBES" Theosophy "... we only allow the presence of the radiation of Spirit (or Atma) in the astral capsule, and so far only as that spiritual radiancy is concerned. We say that man and Soul have to conquer their immortality by ascending towards the unity with which, if successful, they will be finally linked and into which they are finally, so to speak, absorbed." (Keys to Theosophy by H.P. Blavatsky p. 103) " Mr. Martin written an excellent book on cults, it also exposes the one doctrine that is the cornerstone of cults and the occult in general; that man is immortal or Eternal and can never die. This is the cornerstone, the foundation of Lucifer's one world religion, that God's Word cannot be trusted, they must look to the divine serpent for their guidance, the very serpent that called God a liar and caused man's fall in the Garden of Eden. With the lie:

"YE SHALL NOT SURELY DIE, YE SHALL BEAS THE GODS"

In conclusion There are many means by which Lucifer/Satan entice man to join him in his rebellion against his creator, one is in man's pride of life. When we look at all the other animal creatures of this creation, it is immediately obvious that man[I] am something separate and above the others. I know in my awakening, the new birth, I begin to take special notice of the many forms of life around me. One of the first things I took note of was trees, flowers, etc. they are as much alive as I am, but there was something in me that is far above them, something almost god-like. So, I had to concur with King David who says; "in a fear inspiring way, I am wonderfully made" I know that feeling very well of feeling godlike. It is that feeling, that pride in man is what Lucifer/Satan taps into. I remember when it really hit me, when it first became real to me that in scripture I'm called a son of God; O' what joy and pride I felt. From that time on I would refer to God as my Daddy, me who never had experienced a daddy in my earthly life, to come to find out that I am a prince, and my Daddy is King of the Universe, O' what a joyful, and proud feeling I experience that day. That feeling was real, but there were things I had to learn about this Father and son relationship. First, I had to learn that, though He's my Daddy, I'm an adopted son whom He loves as much as He love His only begotten Son. I had to learn the reason I'm called an adopted son. The only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ is the essence of what His Father is, He's pure, Holy, untouched by sin even though He hung-out with sinners. Like His Father He's Eternal [no beginning and no end] He's creator of all that is. When I contemplated these things, I had to admit that I was just the opposite of all that he is. He is God in the flesh! There goes my prideful feeling of being God-like, in its place come a humbling feeling. But still joyful that He would call me His son, when compared to His only begotten Son I'm but a pile of sinful skin and bones. When truly enlighten by God it's a humbling experience, when playing around with the religion of Lucifer [the occult] it an experience of self-exultation. I was an occultist, I know how Lucifer/Satan can take those feeling of being Godlike, build on them in sinful man and have him feeling that he, man, is actually divine, immortal and Eternal. This deception is so powerful that even a man like Mr. Martin who is well versed in scripture, who claims everything is proven by scripture, when inadvertently proving through the very scripture he so highly praised as being the final authority, that man is not an Eternal being he could not accept the word of God. He continued to insist that he is divine, that he is Eternal, that he is God. This may not have been Mr. Martin's intentions at the start, but he was so caught up in the lie of Lucifer/Satan, that God is a liar, that he could not in the end allow the Word of God to be the final authority that he claimed it to be. Now I'm not condemning Mr. Martin to Eternal Flames of torture that he condemned Jehovah's Witness too for committing the same offence he is guilty of, because I don't believe God is in the business of Eternal Torment. So, we need to be very care of who we condemn to Eternal torture because in the process we may be condemning ourselves. "BEWARE OF THE SCRIBES" [Mark 12:38] KJV

I grew up in a very religious family, a religion of Spiritism and because of that up-bringing I was caught-up in the occult. I have many occult experiences that only led me deeper and deeper into the deep things of Satan. One of my addictions to the occult was the UFO phenomenal and spirit contact which is forbidden in the word of God. Playing around with deceiving spirits, that includes UFO's will lead to the soul's destruction, that is why I'm publishing this article as a warning to those who have not gotten involved in the truly deep things of Satan to stay clear! I was headed for Hell!
