Can we count on you?

Men have lived lives

They have made names for themselves and set out pathways

They have made impacts on people, economies, and societies

Their time on earth they have not wasted

They have done things that others could only imagine

Great men have walked on the surface of the earth and achieved amazing goals

The greatest of them are those who fulfilled God’s purpose for their lives

They did not have the highest IQ

Not all of them were princes or princesses, beautiful or handsome

Not all had great rich lives, perfect health or strength

Not all had rosy lives, having all they wanted or needed

Some had no limbs or all their body parts functioning as expected

Not all had academic qualifications

Not all were famous people

Some of these men have stood on platforms before thousands of people

With voices heard across miles and by millions

While others were hardly noticed

These men might have deviated from the standards of the world and seem not to have belonged to the world

But they have changed lives with their actions, words and deeds

Maybe with a smile, a greeting, a helping hand

Others have laid down their lives, forgone the pleasures of the world, let go of certain dreams and aspirations

They did not fail their generation

They were different people, living different lives, at different locations, under different circumstances, belonging to different races or gender

Though different, they had common things

They were human and not perfect

None was qualified for all had weaknesses

They all knew God and put HIM first

They made a decision as to whom they would serve and live for

They pursued God and not the things of the world

They may not have been great in the eyes of the world but they were in the eyes of the one who really matters, God.

Greatness is defined by the lives you impact, the problems you solve and the need you address, however little in accordance with the will of God.

Do not fail your generation
