If You Don't Use It, You Will Lose It

A brand new house or car will deteriorate faster if no one uses them for months. Our bodies will deteriorate faster if we don't exercise. Anything that was made by God or man will deteriorate faster if it is not used for the purpose for which it was made. Therefore, if we don't live to fulfill our purpose on Earth, our lives are shortened. God has given each one of us abilities to use for his Glory. Judas Iscariot's purpose in the Bible was to serve and worship Jesus but instead, he used Jesus as an opportunity to earn money for himself. As you know, Judas' life was shortened. Our lives were created to love God by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Master. By doing this, our souls will have eternal life. If we live only to gain for ourselves selfishly and not serve our Heavenly Father totally with love, we will lose our souls. It is better to surrender our lives to Jesus to be use for God's purpose and live than to keep our lives to do whatever we feel and perish. Unfortunately, most chose the latter because of ignorance to God's Truth. Let's be wise and live our lives loving God so he can be glorified through us. If we don't use our lives to fulfill God's purpose, we shall lose it fulfilling our own.
