The 10 Commandments

The 10 commandments are given by God to Moses in Exodus 20 verses 3 through 17. These commandments are not 10 recomendations nor are they 10 suggestions nor are they 10 advices. But 10 commandments. God says for us to do them or else face His wrath and judgment. For those who breaks any of the commandments are guilty of breaking them all. God is no respector of persons. Those who are guilty of breaking the 10 commandments and live on without repentance can cancel their plans for Heaven cause they aren't going when they die. Only by confessing all of our sins and asking God to forgive us of them all and accepting Jesus can man then begin to get his life right with God but not until then.
In the Bible, God clearly states that we are either sheep or goats, we are either wheat or tares, we are either in the Kingdom of Light or the kingdom of darkness, we are either walking on the Striaght and narrrow Road that leads to Life or on the broad road that leads to destruction, we are either saved or lost, we are either living our lives for God and servants of God and Jesus or we are living our lives for satan and are the slaves of sin. There IS NO in between. Which are you? Whose side are you on? Only you and God knows and we cannot pull the wool over the Eyes of All Seeing God who knows all, sees all and is every where all over the earth at all times and knows every soul alive's spiritual state. Proverbs 15 verse 3 says: "The Eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good." God is every where at all times always and forever.

Now the 10 commandments;
1. Thou shalt have no other god's before me.
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
4. Remember the sabbath, to keep it holy.
5. Honor thy father and thy mother.
6. Thou shalt not kill.
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8. Thou shalt not steal.
9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
10. Thou shalt not covet any thing that belongs to you neighbor.

What do these mean? Lets go over them again in explantion.
1 says that we are not to have any other gods before God Almighty. For God is a very Jealous God which made us and if we love any thing or any one more than God, that thing in which we love becomes our god and this is idolatry.
2 says we are not to make any graven image or carve any thing out of any kind of substance and worship it like the children of Israel made a golden calf and worshipped it. This to is idolatry.
3 says we are not to take God's Name in vain. When we use or say God's Holy Name be very careful how we say It or use It cause God is listening. Many people do use God's Name in vain. God doesn't have a last name and all who do are hanging over the fires of hell by a thread as well as those who break any of God's commandments.
4 says we are to remember the sabbath day and keep it holy. God started His work on the first day of the week which is Sunday and finished it on Friday and rested on Saturday. Saturday is the sabbath day. I have had arguments over this. If Sunday is the sabbath, why doesn't the week stary with Monday instead of Sunday? The first day is Sunday and the last day is Saturday which is the sabbath in which we are to do no work.
5 says we are to honor our father and mother. Yet while we are not living with them, we are to still honor them cause they are still alive. If they be dead then we do not have them to honor any more. Honor your parents so that your days will be long on the earth. Other wise your days will not be long on the earth.
6 says for us not to kill. Do not kill no one regardless of what they said or did. Yes we will have wars. The Bible is not talking about this cause this is when different countries of the world come together in battle. Wars must happen before the rapture can happen which is fixing to happen. Also cease from using your tongue from killing cause it to can kill people's spirits with words.
7 says for any married couple to not commit adultery. Neither commit fornication or adultery along with fornication. The only people alive who has a Biblical right to have sex is a married adult man and his wife and no one else. All others are NOT qualified to have sex, NOT EVER.
8 says for us to not steal. Work for what you want and need and do not ever take any thing that belongs to you without permission. If the answer is "no" leave it alone and get your eyes off of it.
9 says we are not to get some one else to lie about some one else cause of any kind of revenge or bitterness or hatred. Always tell the truth about every soul and do not lie about them or get any one else to lie about them.
10 says for us to not covet what belongs to our neighbors. Do not what what your neighbor has. What ever your neighbor has get your eyes off of it and his family also. Who is our neighbor that the BIble is talking about here? Our neighbor could be the Japanese, Chinese or any one in the world. If you see some thing that belongs to any one else, get your eyes off of it and do not want it period.

This is the meaning of the 10 commandments. Yet Jesus gave to us another commandment written in John 13 verses 34 through 35 which says this and Jesus speaking here;
"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." This is self explanatory and speaks for itself. We are to love our enemies as Jesus said in Matthew 5 verses 43 and 44.
Let these commandments become your way of living and compass for your soul cause by breaking them will only cause the wrath and judgment of God to abide on you and you then become qualified to enter into the fires of hell. If you are not saved, call on Jesus now and confess all known sins and ask God to forgive you and ask Jesus to lead you and guide you and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Make Jesus your Lord and Saviour now, He is waiting for your call. Call Him now. God bless you all.
