The funeral home. 4-22-17

Have you been to a funeral home lately? A funeral home is not the place you would want to visit. It's the last place you want to go to. I, like every body else, have been to a funeral home to pay my last repects to family members or to friends. I signed the visitors list and viewed the corpse in the casket. The funeral homes I have been to were very nice. Regardless of how nice it is, it is still the last place I or anybody else would want to visit. The funeral home is where that person will be viewed for the last time. There will never be another time on earth, not ever. The next time you see that person will be after you die and you will see that person either with you in the same place or across the great gulf that separates Heaven and hell. One of you will be on one side and the other one will be on the other side.

I know what you are thinking right now. "Funeral homes are not a good subject to talk about." Yes that is true. But they are there when we need them and they do serve a good purpose and help the public. Nobody talks about funeral homes but they do talk about those who died. The newspaper has an obituary column in daily papers that lists those who died. Televisions stations talks about those who died on their news broadcasts. Radio stations talk about those who died. People at work or at school talk about those who died. Family members tell stories about members who died. We hear about those who died more and more every day. People are dying like flies and murders and sucides are at an all high time. There is no escaping stories of the dead if you watch television news or listen to the radio.

Death is a daily thing and if the rapture tarries, we are all going to die. One out of one dies. You can't get out of life with out dying not unless you go by the rapture which can happen at any time now. Many saints are talking about when they get to Heaven, but they have to die or go by the rapture to get there. Those who are in sin don't talk about death or dying. Why? Because of the guilty conviction that will crush them as they know in their hearts that they do not have Jesus in their hearts nor are they following Him nor serving God. When they pass by a cemetary they turn their heads and look the other way, I know that for sure. When I wasn't right with God, I did not look at a cemetary cause if I did then the guilt of not living for God would crush me in which I could not bare at that time. There's an old saying about cemetaries that goes like this; "People are dying to get in." Which is true. You can't go to a cemetary and put up a living quarter. People don't do that.

There are a lot of people who own a lot of land. How much land does a person need? There was an indian chief who owned a lot of land and was willing to give it away to anybody who wanted it. He told strangers passing through that he would give them all of the land that they wanted if they could make it across the finish point in time. The many who tried didn't make it across the finish point in time. This one man who was a passerby was made the same offer that the chief made to every one who attempted to own his land. The chief said to him; "All of this land as far as your eyes can see is my land and I will give you all of the land that you can run around if you make it across the finish line on this hill that I am standing on before the setting of the sun." The man asked; "When can I start?" The chief answered; "When you are ready." The man took off running as a brave on a horse followed him to map out the area that the man ran around.

A couple of hours had passed after the man began running. He began to get tired and he pushed himself to run even further still saying to himself; "I need more land. I need more land. I can make it." He ran further away from the finish line where the chief was waiting on. By this time he was getting very tired from running, but he was determined to make it across the finish line before the sun went down. The man pushed himself to the point to where he had to stop and rest. He looked way across the land and he could barely see the hill where the chief was standing on waiting for him. He looked to where the sun was and it was getting lower in the sky. The man said to himself; "I have to make it." He got up and began to run again in another direction as the brave continued to follow him.

Seeing that the sun was getting lower, the man pushed himself even harder. He began his journey back to the finish line. His heart was beating rapidly, his legs were tired, his lungs were aching from breathing very heavily. Struggling with ever ounce of will power that he could generate, he pushed himself even harder to make it. He was getting light headed cause of his exhaustion and pushing him self so much. The man saw the chief and the finish line, but it was to late, the sun had already went down. He made it up to the finish line and collapsed on the ground and died. How much land does a man really need? 6 feet deep by 6 feet wide by 4 feet across. In other words only a grave. This is all a land that a person really needs and it isn't much land.

Jesus says to the world; "Come unto Me and take my yoke upon you and I will give you rest. Bring all of your cares and burdens to Me. For I carried the weight of the world upon My Shoulders. There's nothing to hard for Me to do. You don't have to die cause I have already paid the price for you in full when I died upon the cross. I died upon the cross to forgive you of all of your sins, healing for your body for by my Stripes you are healed, life more abundantly and eternal life. I love you that much. I love you with an ever lasting love that will never weaken. Don't die in the world for this is not My Father's will for you. He doesn't take pleasure in the death of a person who dies with out Me. When your time is up and you are in Me and I am in you, I will come and gently lie you down and you will take your rest forever with Me in My Father's Kingdom that was perpared for you from the foundation of the world forever."

God loved us enough to give us His Son Jesus. Jesus loved us enough to give us His Life on the cross. His desciples loved Him and the world enough to give us their lives preaching the gospel. God promised to meet our needs. God wants to lift us up and not tear us down. He wants us to be the head and not the tail. What has satan done for the world? What has he given to the world for our benefit? What has he contributed to the world for a better life for us? Tell me, is there any thing that can come to your mind? Any thing that satan has done for us? Any thing? Here's a list of what satan has done for the world; death, diseases, poverty, hunger, thirts, wars, famines, hatred, unforgivness, bitterness, anger, rage, meanness, murders, rapists, liars, cheater, thieves, violence, jealousy, greed, stengyness, drug addicts, alcoholics, food addicts, sex addicts, all other addicts, fornication, adultery, proud, unholy, confusion, blashemers, cursings, promise breakers, covetousness, disobedient to parents, people turning against people, self centered people, selfishness, careless people, vengeful people, discriminators, racists, sexists, gays, cruelty to animals, child abusers, child molestors, abusers of every kind, false accusers, terrorists, idolatry, astrology, prostitutes, witchcraft, occults, false teachers, satan worshipers, those who cause destructions, those who had sex change surgeries, those who have fantasies of other people in any way, lovers of things and other people more than lovers of God and all other wicked people. This is a list of what satan has given to us. Take a good look at it and tell me if there is any thing here that you can see that is good. Anything? No. Nothing at all. None of these things are good. None of these things are for our benefit. Every one of these things comes straight from the heart of the devil telling us he hates every man, woman, boy and girl alive on planet earth. Every one of these things are satan's tools to destroy all of us and any of them can send our souls straight to hell.

The funeral home is a place where we take the dead to here on the earth. There is no funeral home in Heaven. Therefore, all who die a saint, a true child of God, really doesn't die at all. They simply step out of the life on earth and step right into eternal life in Heaven. They never taste death. Jesus said in John 11 verse 25; "...I am the resurrection and the life, he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live." You obey what you believe. If you believe Jesus, you will do exactly what all of the Word of God says. If not, then you are an unbeliever. So why bother with a funeral home for the true child of God? It is the only earthly thing to do for them. All who practice in any of the sins listed above or not listed will die in their sins. They are a walking dead person with one foot on earth and one foot in the grave just waiting to fall in. When they do, just close the casket lid cause they died the second death which means the physical death and then the spiritual death where they go to hell.

Every thing God gives is love and is a blessing. Every thing that satan gives is hate and is a curse. God has given man the knowledge to give us every thing we have, our homes, every thing in our homes, all of our clothes, transportation, medicine, doctors, dentists, education and other people to help us to have a better life. God loved us enough to give us all of these wonderful things which are His blessings to us and thank God for every thing we have to benefit our lives. But what about the devil? What do you think would happen if God took His Hand from off the earth for just one second? If God took His Hand from off the earth for even one second, the devil would kill every man, woman, boy and girl. The whole earth would be completely lifeless of all man kind. There would not be one live person no where. We would all be dead and in hell and God knows this. Thank God for His wonderful protection.

Man, with out Jesus, would have no chance against satan. The only Man who defeated satan was Jesus Christ the Son of God. Jesus put satan and all of his demons under His feet where they belong. After Jesus died on the cross, He ascended into the bowels of hell and grabbed satan by the hair of his head and dragged him in front of all of his demons instructing him to let us alone if we call on Jesus' Name. Jesus took the keys of death, the grave and hell. Jesus gave the devil the whipping that he so badly deserved. Jesus beat him up one side and down the other. Jesus beat him black and blue. Jesus walked all over satan and his demons like a floor mat as Heaven applauded and cheering; "Go Jesus go. Go Jesus go. Go Jesus go." After 3 days of beating the enemy up, Jesus left the devil and all of his demons knocked out cold on the ground as the whole host of Heaven applauded, rejoiced and celebrated Jesus the Victor over the devil. Jesus is the Champion. Jesus is the Victor over death, the grave and hell. Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. Jesus did something that no man or woman past, present or future could have ever done, He beat the devil and all of his demons once and for all. Oh praise God. Praise Jesus who is King of kings and Lord of lords. Jesus is seated on the right hand of God in Heaven and has all power. Praise Jesus forever.

If you are not right with God, go to Him now in prayer, confess all known sins and ask God to forgive you of them, ask Jesus to come into your life now as Lord and Savior, follow Him, serve God from this moment on and God will bless you. God bless you.
