Have you ever been pushed by some one to do something? I believe that we all have from one time to another. The people who pushed me the most were my parents. In 1981, I was failing my senior year in high school, because I was working about 30 to 35 hours a week at a grocery store. I told my parents that I was going to quit school, because I was failing so bad and did not know if I would ever pass and graduate. They looked at me and said; "Son, you stay in there and don't you give up. You study harder. If you have to quit your job in order for you to graduate then do so. You stay in school and don't you quit. You come this far and not quit and we are not going to let you." I looked at them and said; "Ok. I'll give it my best shot and quit my job even though I don't want to." They said to me; "Son, there will come a time in your life when you are going to have to do something that you don't want to do and this is one of those times." I quit my job, stayed in school, studied the hardest I have ever studied and graduated.

I was pushed by my parents to finish school and graduate. Sometimes when someone is pushed and all goes right, it is for that person's benefit if the pusher loves that other person. The ones who did the pushing benefited also, because of the good that came out of the one that they pushed. They both gained something from it. The ones who pushed are satisfied from the out come of that person's achievements and accomplishments that they pushed and so every body is happy. Sometimes when some one pushes another person to do something, it is for the pusher's gain and not for the one being pushed. When this happens, the one being pushed is only being used for the wickedness for the one who is pushing them. Therefore, the gain is in vain and not for good, but for evil.

As you noticed, I initialized the letters of the word push. This is saying that the letters of this word means some thing. There are 2 meanings of the word p u s h. The one used for evil is what all of satan's people are and they are being controlled by satan himself and it means this; "proceed under satan's hand." All evil people proceed under satan's hand, his authority and his leadership. The devil leads the way and his wicked people follow him all the way. The way always ends up bad for all of those who follow satan. Satan has them with a leash around their necks dragging them to do his dirty work. They can get free and it just takes one serious call to Jesus and He will break all the chains and lose them and set them free. Jesus is the only One who can.

The second phrase of the initials p u s h is used for good not for evil. It means this; "Pray Until Something Happens." The word of God says for us to pray with out ceasing in 1 Thes. 5 verse 17. Prayer is the most powerful tool that can be used by any believer in any situation. There are many who prays a little and then expects God to answer over night. Some times He answers quickly and some times He doesn't. When you are in a real need for God to answer your prayers, you have to p u s h God and p u s h God. God likes for us to be determined and to never stop praying to Him. Quitters never win and winners never quit. God wants all of His children to be winners in every area of their lives. Winners show God that they believe in Him and they have faith and that they know with out a doubt that He will answer them soon. Quitters proves that they have no faith in God nor do they have patience. The Bible says we are in need of patience. Hebrews 11 verse 6 says that without faith it is impossible to please God. If a person doubts God, then God doubts that He will find his or her name written in the Lambs Book of Life. If you give up on praying to God, you are living in sin. 1 Samuel 12 verse 27 says; "Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you." Real children of God pray to Him daily times daily and follow Jesus whole hearted. They are blessed in every area of their lives and have faith in God and this pleases Him.

I heard this pastor share his story about how he needed to buy some property for his church. He needed 3 million dollars for this property and he had a set time to get the money or he would lose that property. He didn't want to borrow any money and was going to pray to God and trust Him for the answers. His church prayed hard for the money. Three weeks had passed and they raised 1 and a half million dollars. The next week was the dead line for them to get another million and a half dollars.

At the end of the following Sunday night service and a week before the dead line, a young couple was robbed of every thing that they owned. They came to the front of the church during the service and told the pastor that God told them to give him a wedding band which was all that they had. The pastor took it. The next service, the pastor shared the young couple's story and the ring that they gave to him. At the end of the service, people came down the isles and gave boats, trailers, cars, money, stocks, bonds, guns and jewelry. They raised over 1 and a half million dollars and got the property that they needed. When God's people pray, God hears and miracles happens. When God's people pray, they move God's mighty Hand and things happen for the people. God used a couple who lost every thing and used a ring to motivate a congregation to give over 1 and a half million dollars. The amount of time you pray will depend on how powerful your prayer life is. Some prayer, some power. More prayer, more power. Much prayer, much power.

Jesus prayed a lot to God. Jesus was God's only Son and He prayed to His Father every day times daily. Jesus set an example for us to follow. There's a lot of people who claim to be a Christian who don't pray. God says that they are living in sin. God says it's a sin not to pray in 1 Samuel 12 verse 23. These so called Christians pray when the going gets tough and then they ask God for help and to bless them. Why should He? God cannot and will not bless those who sin against Him. God will not reward those who are disobedient to Him. But God will judge them and punish them for their sins. All who live in sin will have a miserable life this is God's promise and satan's guarantee. You have God's Word on it and His Word will not return to Him void.

Every believer needs to pray for all of their lost family, friends, neighbors and fellow workers. The lost are on a ship like the Titanic with out survivors. All who are on this ship will perish. Why? Because there are no life boats on the ship of sin. The only Life Boat that the world has is Jesus Christ. He is the only One who can save the lost. The ship of sin has set sail and all who are on it will die. Are you on this ship? If you want to get off of the ship of sin, all you have to do is call on Jesus and He will be there in an instant. Jesus has plenty of room on His Life Boat and will take all who wants to come to Him. Pray until something happens and God will not send some one else to you He will show up Himself.

If you are being pushed by the devil, you are a tool in his hand to try to lure others in to the trap of sin. All whom satan has, he will never let them go. They have to wake up and call on Jesus in order to be set free from satan and sin. If you are being pushed by satan, I beseech you to start pushing back right now, because your eternal soul depends on it and do others whom you may be pushing to do sin. Here's what I want you to do. If you are not right with God, I want to give you a chance to get saved. Go to God now, confess all known sins and repent of them, ask Jesus to come into your heart and be your Lord and Savior, follow Him and serve God from this moment on and God will bless you. God bless you.
