What God Sees In You!

Zechariah Chapter 3 vs 1-4



Have you ever wondered what God sees in you? Have you asked within yourself if you are worthy of His attention? Wny would God send His son, Jesus Christ, to be born on earth, a humble human being, to live with us, fellowship with us, to die for us on the cross? Crucifiction is a painful, shameful, terrible way for anyone to be punished for their 'crimes', but Jesus was innocent; He died on that cross to atone for our sins, to be a substitute, a sacrifice for any who would later come to believe in His Name. Why would He do that for you and me?

The easiest answer would be that God sees something very valuable in you and me. Of what value could we possibly be to the Lord of Hosts, so valuable that He would allow His Only Begotten Son to die a sinner's death on a cross? When God looks at us, He doesn't see who we are, He sees what we can become. He already knows who will answer His call for amnesty, He knows who will accept His gift of salvation. He is never concerned about what we have done in the past or what we will do in the future. He already has a plan, He already knows what is needed to woo you and me to Him, to HIs side. He knows what it will take to keep up at His side. He is never worried about the outcome.

The accusers in your life, whoever they may be, will tell you that you have no value, that your mistakes signify that you are a loser and that you will never win, so why try to do anything to make your life better? Patience and persistence is the key; you will never change until you decide that you want something better than what you have right now, and you will not succeed in your quest for change without accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

In the natural, anyone that works hard to achieve a goal will probably accomplish it, but will there be peace of mind and will you have a merry heart after your struggles have ended? Will you be able to say that you know for a fact where you will end up after this life is over?

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will have the best of both worlds, the power, the peace, the love, the joy, the glory that can only come when you are declared His child, a citizen of the Kingdom of God, destined for greater things into eternity, not because you are special or perfect, but because He loves you and is willing to give you everything that you need to survive and thrive in this world and in the world to come. And you will be counted among the righteous of God, destined to reign and rule with Jesus Christ, when He comes back to this world to conquer and destroy the devil and his demons, and to establish His rightful Kingdom upon the earth, to show us all how to live peacefully under a just and righteous government established by the Lord.

The Lord knows who we are, and He knows what He can make out of all our weaknesses and mistakes. He can make the best possible version of you and me; we will live with Him forever in love, peace, joy, and happiness. If you will not deny His power and authority in your life, He will not deny anything that is good to come to you!

He loves you, and He is delighted to give the Kingdom of God to all of those who would choose to be with Him forever and ever. Make the right decision, and accept His offer of amnesty, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you will never be disappointed that you did!
