Graceful Maturity

by lareina morgan
6/07/2017 / Christian Living

Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

2 Corinthians 12:8-9

When will the lessons I've learned be a sign for those seeking you, O Lord? "How about right now, my child".

It is never an easy thing for anyone to admit that they need help in certain areas of the their lives, and spiritual maturity only comes when you and I admit to ourselves and to God that we need His help. He is always there for us, waiting to bestow blessings upon those who are willing to go through the process of graceful maturity. We find grace when we are willing to follow His lead, read His word, and the apply what we have learned into our daily living. Once the Holy Spirit touches and transforms our heart, we find that we are willing to love others, to be kind and considerate to everyone we meet, and to give Him all the credit and the praise for the results.

The apostle Paul had a tremendous ministry; he helped to save countless people, was witness to signs and wonders, prayed for miraculous healings, and the Lord saved Him on several occasions from death and destruction. But, there were times that Paul had to go through pain and suffering to advance the Kingdom of God. He prayed to God to take away a tormentor from the enemy satan, who was causing a great deal of pain and distress in His life, but the Lord replied, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness”. God allowed this into Paul's life to prevent Him for becoming prideful and conceited (2 Corinthians 12:7). There are times when we face circumstances not because we did anything wrong, but because the Lord is tempering our hearts and minds; when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, He saves us for Himself and we become His children, and He becomes our Father and friend. He gives us the power to live peaceful and joyful lives, and the Holy Spirit is given to direct us into the path of righteousness, into the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

'Grace under pressure' - sometimes we may be in situations that seem hopeless or beyond our ability to overcome, but that is when God does His greatest work in our lives. He comes in an gives us the power to endure the situation, and His solution is always the best in every circumstance. When we are weak, then He is strong, and when we come out on the other side of the storm, whatever the issue may be, we can sing praises to our God and give Him all of the Glory, the Honor, and the Praise! He allows us to go through these things because He knows that we can handle it and that we will grow in deeper love, faith and maturity in Christ. So, when life seems painful or hopeless, that is when we need to go deeper into Jesus Christ, and declare His name over our situations, claim the promises of God written in the scriptures, and tell Him that we love Him and that we trust Him.

The Grace of God is our greatest weapon; God will be moved with compassion by your declarations of love and trust. He will move the mountains, the rivers, the oceans and the seas just because His little one needs His help. He will rebuke the devil, and make the demons of oppression flee from your life and from your circumstances. He will make a way out of no way. He will compel your enemies to do right by you, He will heal you, He will justify you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. He knows that you are not perfect, He is aware that you cannot do this alone, He is just waiting for you to understand that as well, so that you will come to Him!

Come To Him Now, Ask For His Deliverance And For His Grace, Seek His Face And Declare Your Love And Trust In Him, And He Will Give YOU The VICTORY!!
