THE PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS

by Lewis E. Thomas
7/29/2017 / Poetry

THE PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS

The Bible says the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much!
Prayer can break the spiritual chains holding another in Satan's clutch!

Prayer moves the Forces of Heaven to fight against the Forces of Hell!
Prayer can move mountains and cause the dying to get well!

The Angels of God are standing in Ranks in their armor of silver and gold!
Waiting for their orders to come down to fight for a praying soul!

With that in mind why do we "seldom" pray?
When prayer can move a SPIRITUAL ARMY to fight for us today!

When we pray things happen that normally would not!
When we don't pray things happen that normally would not!

When Daniel prayed it caused a great Spiritual Battle in the Heavens above!
As mighty demonic angels tried to stop Gabriel from delivering a message of love!

So great was that battle, God sent the Mighty Arch Angel "Michael" to intervene!
When we pray it "causes" great spiritual battles that remain unseen!

Don't let the Devil tell you that your prayers go unheard!
For God hears the cry of the Eagle and the churp of every tiny bird!

When you don't see the answer to your prayer as yet don't ever stop praying!
Because God Almighty hears "every word" that you are saying!

GOD will move Heaven and Hell to answer a righteous prayer!
He is always listening and He is always aware!

Sin can hinder and block our prayers so the Lord will not hear!
But a repenting heart will always bring God and Jesus near!

The prayer of the righteous is a "POWERFUL and AWESOME THING!"
It moves the heart of God and Jesus, the MIGHTY KING OF KINGS!
