GOD-TRACKING IS BEING CONFIDENT OF WHO LIVES IN YOU
1 John 4:4
Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Abraham was called by God to leave his home town of Ur in the land of the Chaldeans and migrate to the land of the Canaanites, which is Israel today. At that time, God revealed himself to Abraham as Lord God Almighty, the all sufficient One, or El Shaddai. Many years after Abraham had settled in his new land, there was a war between several kings in the region, which threatened Abraham’s family. Operating under the blessing of God, against all odds, Abraham was instrumental in conquering these kings. At the end of the battle Abraham was blessed by Melchizedek, king of the city-state, Salem (Jerusalem today). Melchizedek was neutral in the recent battle and a king like none of the other. He was also a priest. In fact, in Genesis 14 Melchizedek is called, priest of God Most High, or El Elyon. Melchizedek was a type of Christ in that he was priest and king.
I believe Abraham enjoyed God’s favour. God had called him to ultimately become the father of the Jews, who brought us the Messiah. Up to this point in his life, Abraham knew God as the all sufficient mighty God. The day he met Melchizedek he discovered God as El Elyon, the God Most High. In battle with the kings, Abraham was outnumbered and outgunned. Yet, he won the fight. Abraham was victorious because the God he served was not only his sufficiency but was also greater than any other god, man or force in the universe. He discovered that his Almighty God was also God Most High! There is none greater, more powerful or more benevolent than El Elyon.
El Elyon is your God, too, if you confess Christ as Lord and Saviour. Through Christ, you have been reconciled to God. Through Christ, you have God dwelling in you as the Holy Spirit. It is no longer you who live but Christ who lives in you. Therefore, you have El Elyon ¬– God Most High –literally resident in your mortal body. You are a temple of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, whatever you’re facing in life; whatever your enemy brings against you; whatever the odds (like when Abraham fought the kings) know this: greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world! Nothing is greater! He is El Elyon, God Most High, and he lives in you.
God-tracking is being confident of who lives in you.

DON’T GIVE UP, LOOK UP & PRAY
O God Most High, you are greater
“O Lord, El Elyon, thank you for reconciling me to yourself through the intercession of Jesus. Thank you that I am forgiven and redeemed by the blood of Christ. Thank you that it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. I confess, therefore, that greater is he who lives within me than he who lives in the world. By your grace and power, I will stand strong against the forces of darkness and all that Satan could bring upon me, in the name of Jesus. O God Most High, you are greater than disease, you are greater than confusion, you are greater than depression and every fear the enemy could level against me. I confess, as Melchizedek blessed Abraham, blessed be God Most High, who has delivered my enemies into my hand! Amen.”
