PEACE

"Now may the Lord of peace himself give you HIS PEACE at all times and in every situation". 

2 Thessalonians 3:16 NLT

"Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. HIS PEACE will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus". Phillipians 4:7 NLT

So often when our heart is overwhelmed by situations and circumstances we wonder why our prayers aren't answered and question if God is indeed who He says He is.

We then start to think the answers to our prayers were delayed probably because of our past sins. ...hmmm, this is a topic for another day. Friend, God is not man! He forgives and forgets! We ask and receive not because we have prayed amiss!

Let's read the above bible verses again. Did you note the keyword therein is HIS PEACE? Anytime our hearts are troubled, anxious or anytime we are at a crossroad, we are to ask for God's peace. Here's a little about His Peace that I have tasted:

His Peace is soothing and calming - Phil 4:6
His Peace guards our hearts and minds- Phil 4:7
His Peace gives strength -  John 14:27
His Peace gives rest - Matt 11:28
His Peace gives courage - John 16:35

Dear friend, His kind of peace - the world can not give it! The Prince of  Peace awaits you. Ask and it shall be given unto you.
