Adieu, Luciano Pavarotti
Virtuoso of operatic tenor
The Tenor of tenors
Tower of the three Tenors
Leader of the pack,
Who made his mark.
With the x-factor
Made you yearn for more
The Classical Man, popular
With a great charming Charisma

Genius, legend, larger than life
In voice and size, thrice
Through song, poured his life
With a voice so glorious
Thunderous and melodious
Rousing, robust, riveting
Endearing, enduring, for long
Sweet, smooth, ringing, velvety
Crossing a range diversely strange
Can raise the dead with his voice

'King of the high seas and C's
Gave birth to beautiful bounty album
Brought best album of all time
Only second to the Thriller
Inspired many a singer
Though ambushed and beaten by cancer
Left a great legacy for the here and after

Yes, Pav, with terrific tenor
Powerful beyond compare
In gratitude declared:
'God has been good to me
He keeps my vocal chord'
What a testimony!

Adieu, Luciano Pavarotti
Long live your melody!

Do you have a dream?
Keep the flame alive.
He lived his dream
and made his mark
Will you make your mark?
