Dear Life

by Richard L. Provencher
4/30/2018 / Christian Living

Here is the plan:

get up in the morning

with a smile--

toes on the laminate flooring

had it done two

summers ago.  Your brother

Moody did the work. He’s not

really like that and more

positive than some we know.

Especially Chloe. She’s

always checking out who

is sick or passed away.

A hurricane of a young lady.

Some say she is gossipy.

Dress for the day. Cool outside.

Breakfast of coffee and

good ole toast with peanut butter.

Car almost froze from that

heavy frost last night.

Shopping includes of shuffling up

and down the aisles

looking for sweet pickles.

Don’t forget

dinner for the cat. Meow. I

miss you she murmurs.

Me too. A pizza sends ne

on my way. Library.

Get prescriptions. Visit aunt Willy.

Hospital care her best bet.

The “D” word too scary to use.

Nice to be retired. Home again.

Supper. Paper reading and a little TV.

Prayers at bedside--

thank you Lord for today.
