THE DIVINE MESSAGE AFTER EASTER

Scriptural Reading: John 14:1-6

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 (KJV)

When growing up as kids in our morning devotions, that was when we realised the importance of the name of Jesus Christ. We prayed using the name regularly and God was faithful to us. As grown-up adults, we have come to realise that the name of Jesus Christ is the only name that Satan honours and whenever it is being mentioned, forces of darkness flee. Jesus is the author of eternal salvation. Hebrews 5:9 (KJV)  put it this way ‘And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;John 17:3 (KJV) also says  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

From where we took our scriptural reading from in the book of John 14:1-6, Jesus told us not to allow our hearts to be troubled that he has gone to prepare a place for us and that He is coming back to take us to be with Him. However, Jesus Christ has reassured us that He is the only way to the father (John 14:6). He knew where He was going after His resurrection and we are confident of this singular fact. That means there is hope for all believers that are genuinely born again.

God is a righteous judge and has licensed a true source of liberation for humankind. He wants us to look up to Jesus only and not to go to other sources for help. For all the personalities of all ages that have lived, Jesus was the only one that died and rose the third day from death.

Who is this Jesus? He is the true son of God and not a prophet. If we are still confused about His personality, here is an anchor scripture for an application. ‘‘He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.’’ John 3:36 (KJV). Jesus is the soon coming king.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, reveal yourself to me personally to know who you are and quench all my doubts. Amen.

Jesus the King is authentic and He saves in the rainy day
