Adoring Eyes

“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else (Isaiah 45:22 KJV).”

A secret admirer's eyes reveal the rapture of love.

With adoring eyes, they get up enough courage to share their true feelings.

It’s a privilege to gaze into the face of someone we love. We can never have our fill. Our eyes follow every movement in hopes of returned affection.

Do we remember to focus on Jesus with our undivided attention? Is there a fixation?

“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:1-2 NASB)?”

The race may be grueling; fixing our eyes on Christ, we endure.
