Hands together,
In faith,
In hope,
In love.
What will my God say today?
Holy pages,
God inspired,
Tender strokes of love,
His words.
Each page fashioned,
The very breath of God,
Each syllable, consonant;
Understanding,
Who will learn the Fear of the Lord?
The beginning,
Wisdom.
The Light pierces our hearts,
Gentle,
Dove like flutters,
Embrace our fears,
Feathered wings, encompass,
Wrapped around our soul,
Such comfort,
Our God of love.
His Truth sets us free,
Weeding out thorns of lies,
Perpetrated by the world,
It's temptations,
Hovering menancingly around our minds.
Oh Jesus!
God's one and only son!
For us!
Word made flesh,
Souls to redeem,
Fly us home,
Into the tender arms,
Abba Father!
He waits,
At the narrow gate,
Waiting, his prodigal children,
His patience knows no end,
Grace beckons,
Angels gloriously sing,
In harmony,
Over just one who repents!
