Thank God This is Not All There Is!

I had this thought today, as the pressure–once again–tried to stifle me, drag me down. Thank God, I thought, remembering my pastor’s words, what I do on earth is the shortest thing I’ll ever do.

Thank God, I thought again, this world is not all there is! Thank You, LORD, for the eternal life in Heaven with You!

Pressure had been coming from many angles lately. I knew that God was moving mightily in my life, and the devil didn’t like it. But he is DEFEATED and has nothing to say about it. And he uses the same old tricks anyway.

As the LORD helped me remind myself, it’s a different season–unique from any the earth has ever seen–and I will not be denied all that is mine. I am a Covenant woman, by my faith in the blood Jesus shed on the cross at Calvary for me, to pay for all my sins. I am a Covenant child. My Father is the King of kings, and He is restoring to me all that has been lost–and it’s not small!

The LORD had been giving me grace to remind me to “look beyond what I see,” and remember the real reason I was in certain Assignments, so that when the enemy stirred up trouble, I would remember who I am, where I am seated, the authority I have, and be strengthened to finish the race on earth to His glory. AMEN.

I am excited, and so very thankful to be part of what God is doing in the earth. I am so very thankful that He has been teaching me His ways. Who am I, that He should think of me, consider me? Yet I am very precious to Him; He gave His Son, Jesus, for me, so I would have an abundant life (John 10:10)! He gave me His Word!

While He never said life would be always smooth, He promised me He would never leave me; that He would always have my back. And He is true!

His Word is true. His Word is unfailing. His Word is life.

Mark 13:31, “Heaven and earth will perish and pass away, but My words will not perish or pass away.” (AMPC)

Earthly life without Christ can never fully satisfy. If you need proof, think of the many people with all kinds of fame and money, who have destroyed themselves from grief and the inability to quench their desires–unfulfilled because they did not have Jesus Christ.

Seek God, and He will show you and fill you and give you true riches. Ask Him to help you seek Him, and you will not be disappointed! You will gain a whole new life, a whole new world–one that is unfading and eternal, full of peace and bliss, because the Savior Himself will be there with you–forever!

Isaiah 45:19 (AMPC) “I have not spoken in secret, in a corner of the land of darkness; I did not call the descendants of Jacob [to a fruitless service], saying, Seek Me for nothing [but I promised them a just reward]. I, the Lord, speak righteousness (the truth—trustworthy, straightforward correspondence between deeds and words); I declare things that are right.”
