LEGACY - Crafting Your Child's Future With Words - Part 9 - Faith Scriptures

LORD, please give me more faith, I prayed in my heart, as I sat in the auditorium full of Christian women.

Softly came the reply, Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, said my dear Father God.

There are so many excellent Scriptures about faith in the Bible that you can speak over your children and yourself and other loved ones!

Here are just a few the LORD showed me. Make them personal by using “you”--to represent your children, or whomever you are speaking them to or about—for the Word works, even if you are across the world from the person you are speaking them over.

It works most powerfully, of course, in your children as you touch them, while they are living in your home under your authority. But the Word of God always is working, for it is alive and powerful! Hebrews 4:12

Here are just a few Scriptures to sow: 

And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and (names of your children here) were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage. Acts 4:31, AMPC

(Name of your child/ren), You stand firm in your faith. Isaiah 7:9b

You wait for the LORD. You put your trust in Him. Isaiah 8:17

Your faith comes by hearing (what is told) and what is heard comes by the preaching (of the message that comes from the lips) of Christ (the Messiah Himself). Rom 10:17

You have eyes to see and ears to hear and brings forth fruit (from what you hear), some 100 fold, some 60, some 30—fruit that remains (Matthew 13:8 and John 15:16)

The sky and earth (the universe, the world) will pass away, but (you, my child, know that) God's Word will never pass away. Luke 21:33 AMPC

You fight with faith and lay hold of the inner man. I Tim 6:12

You know that JESUS came to destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8! He did; IT IS FINISHED!! John 19:30). God is exalted, the devil is defeated, and Jesus Christ is LORD! (Acts 2:36, Acts 10:36, Rom. 10:9, Matt. 28:18, Luke 6:5, Jude 1:4, Revelation 17:14).

God is the Strength of my life I can do anything with Jesus in me. Psalm 27:1, Phil. 4:13

The LORD is on my side; I have no fear. What can man do to me? Psalm 118:6

You have faith as a grain of mustard seed. Though it starts as tiny, it grows into the greatest of trees. Matt 13:31,32, 17:20

The LORD delights in my way and makes my steps firm; though I stumble, I will not fall, for the LORD upholds me with His hand. Psalm 37:24

We rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God. Romans 5:2 AMP

You do not have the spirit of fear, but God's spirit of power, love, and self-disclipline (2 Tim 11:7), so you are not ashamed to testify about our LORD. II Tim 1:8

My children hear the Word and grasp and comprehend it. Matt 13:23

My child believes and relies on You, LORD, and he/she sees the glory of God. John 11:40

I wait for the LORD and keep His way. He will exalt me to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, I will see it. Psalm 37:14

You know (and understand) what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of God’s power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His (own) right hand in the heavenly places. Ephesians 1:19

Blessed are my child’s eyes because they do see, and her ears because they do hear. --Matthew 13:16

My child hears the Word and grasps and comprehends it; the Word bears fruit and yields in one case a hundred times, in another sixty times as much was sown, in another thirty. Matt 13:23

My child, you fight with faith and lay hold of the inner man. I Tim 6:12

My child is fully persuaded, and does know the will of God, and thus my child’s heart is reassure his heart. Whatever you ask, my child, you receive of Him, because you keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. I John 3:22

You believe in GOD (you adhere to, trust in, and rely on Him) and shall not be put to shame nor disappointed. Isaiah 49:23, Romans 5:3-5

The Word (God's message in Christ) is near my child, on her lips and in her heart; that is, the Word (the message, the basis and object) of faith which we preach. Rom. 10:8

Your faith is strengthened when we acknowledge the good things in us. Philemon 1:6. 

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, till He come and rain righteousness upon you.  Hosea 10:12

I have told you these things so that in Me you may have (perefct) peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer (take courage, be confident, certain, undaunted). For I have conquered the world for you. John 16:33 (AMPC)

You are strong and of good courage. Joshua 1:9

Your mouth speaks excellent and princely things, and the opening of your lips is for right things, and wrongdoing is loathsome and detestable to your lips. Your mouth utters truth. Prov. 8:6-8 and 17-21

My child, without having seen Him (JESUS), you love Him; though you do not (even) now see Him, you believe in Him and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious (triumphant, heavenly) joy. I Peter 1:8

You are strong, alert, courageous, and you work. You do great exploits. You think differently and follow God completely. Numbers 14:4

All the nations may walk in the name of their "gods"; but you, my child, will walk in the name of the LORD our God forever and ever. Micah 4:5

You will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done. Psalm 118:17

You whom God shaped for HImself will broadcast His praises. Isaiah 43:21

The LORD will show you more. Just ask—and receive!
