Thank You, LORD!

Every day is a good chance to say "Thank You!" to the LORD for all the wonderful things He does for us and gives to us. Also, let us think a minute about how, when something happens that we don't like, we can know our LORD hears us--and be grateful that He is working in our lives to help us and make things turn out right.

Thankfulness is very powerful. It is very hard to be truly thankful and afraid at the same time, so let us focus on thinking of all of the wonderful ways God has protected and guided us, how He has generously provided for us, and how He keeps on loving us no matter what, through Jesus His Son.

Philippians 4:6 (AMP) says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

So when bad things happen--or just the thoughts come that something might be scary or hard--we can say to our Daddy God, "Father, I love You and I thank You so much that You are aware of every detail of my life--since before the world began, and You are faithful to help me win in every situation. I trust You and I thank You for the Blood of Jesus that covers me!”

Psalm 100 says, "You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise. Come right into his presence with thanksgiving. Come bring your thank offering to him and affectionately bless his beautiful name! 5 For the Lord is always good and ready to receive you. He’s so loving that it will amaze you—so kind that it will astound you! And he is famous for his faithfulness toward all. Everyone knows our God can be trusted, for he keeps his promises to every generation!"

What else can you do to show God you are thankful?
