It's time to sell

Wishing you a blessed new month.

As we pray today, we shall be considering the concluding part of the story in 2 Kings 4:1-7.

After the oil was multiplied inside the house, the widow told Elisha about it. Since she won't drink the oil, Elisha told her to go out and sell it. (v7)

Our focus is on the importance of GOING OUT TO SELL what God has blessed us with.

The oil increased, as God's blessings came upon it, but for the woman to be blessed by the blessed oil, she must take the oil to the marketplace.

If you consider yourself blessed, then step out and sell yourself. Do not keep in the house what the Lord has blessed. Sell your blessed ideas, advertise your blessed goods and skills.

Raise high what you have on the candle stand. Annouce your gift to the world. Be proud of your calling. Tell the world what you know. You have been in the locked room for a while, it is time to go out and sell.

Selling does not necessarily mean putting a price tag on what you have, but as you broadcast what God has blessed in your hands, men will patronise you; they will be willing to pay you.

As you go out to sell your oil, God will link you up with buyers. There are people in need of your skills; people that are willing to give what they have to get what you have.

They need what God has blessed you with, just as you need what God has blessed them with. If you don't go out and sell, you cannot meet these people.

You need to remember that your paths must cross. True and lasting blessings come from an exchange of blessings.

Brethren, you can't drink your oil.

The month of June is a practical month. It is a month of demonstration. It is a month of taking steps. It is a month to do away with excuses and terrifying facts. You must tell yourself that you will use this month to announce what God has blessed in your house/hand.

"...Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest. 2 Kings 4:7.

God has placed buyers out there waiting for you. There's someone out there ready to buy into your dream.

The next miracle is out there.

Go, sell the oil.
