FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

For the love of God, there isn't anything I wouldn't do.
I say YES to it all,
for He has made my heart steadfast and true.

God has been with me since the day I was born,
He was there with my mother too;
guiding her loving intentions,
ensured her care would get me through.....

He was there for me on my sick bed
when I was a little child
AND He's been there for all else;
when I was loathsome, lost and even wild.

For the love of God, there isn't anything I wouldn't do.
I say YES to it all,
for He has made my heart steadfast and true.

To ponder the blessings
and miracles He has made happen
from the time I learned to crawl,
would be impossible to number,
and even harder to recall.
(He has always been there to pick me up or catch me when I fall!)

When I contemplate the depth of my love,
tears form in my eyes,
my gratitude overcomes me;
I can't wait to see Him in the skies.

For the love of God, there isn't anything I wouldn't do.
I say YES to it all,
for He has made my heart steadfast and true.

For the Love My Father showers over me,
I behold a beautiful story,
I feel His Presence always;
in times of trial, as well as glory.

I will worship Him as long as I have breath
and when I'm in Heaven too;
I am so looking forward to that moment
when I can forever stick to Him like glue.

For the love of God, there isn't anything I wouldn't do.
I say YES to it all,
for He has made my heart steadfast and true.
