A Few Facts About Angels

11 For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and  defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. 12 They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.  -- Psalm 91:11,12 (AMPC)

If we hadn't had God's holy guardian angels watching over us, working with His Holy Spirit to direct us and those who have authority in our lives, especially when we were children, we would have been destroyed long ago! 

You may never see your guardian angel(s) (some people have more than one!), but know they are there, watching over you, helping you, shielding and guarding you and redirecting you away from harm; always and forever working in perfect unity with Father God, Who loves and created and sustains you. 

About 10 years ago, when I homeschooled my daughter in her 6th and 7th grades, I taught her a few specifics about God's holy angels.

There are fallen angels, called demons. They defected from their first estate when Lucifer, now called satan, deceived them. They are all enemies of God. But only one third defected, so there are still twice as many holy angels as demons, and far greater are God the Father and Jesus the Son, working FOR us every moment!

Now, here's a short list about holy angels, God's servants who serve Him perfectly, without fail. They: 

1. Can’t be saved. We humans--made in the image of God--are the only creatures who need and can be reborn in their spirits by inviting and allowing the Spirit of Jesus, the Son of God Who died on the cross for our sins, to come into their hearts (spirits) and regenerate us. 

2. Are curious about the things of God

3. Will always and only point to the true and only God, the LORD Jesus Christ.  They are never from God if they suggest we worship them or anyone else but the True God, Yahweh, and His Son, Jesus Christ

4. Will never tell us to do anything against God’s Word

5. Are sent to help us blood-bought heirs (We are part of the Royal Family of God by the blood of Jesus, the Lamb Who was slain before the foundation of the world!) to know God and follow Him, and to help others find and follow Him!

I'm sure there are many more, so ask the LORD to help you search the Word and reveal to you more about Himself and His angels--for His holy angels came out of Him, and do only His bidding!
