I’m a grazer; I eat several times a day. A few hours after eating, I get an empty feeling. Uncomfortable, I find something to eat. Emptiness is in stark contrast with chock-full.

The Father fills His children with His Spirit.

“For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,  from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:14-19 NASB).”

I can experience the fullness of God!

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.  Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another (Galatians 5:22-26 NASB).”

Lord, I desire to live and walk by the Spirit. I’m hungry.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied (Matthew 5:6 NASB).”
