Death Celebrations On Valentine's Day.

by Olawale Ogunsola
2/14/2021 / World Affairs

Dates and days of every month were created to be alike. A day should be treated equally like any other. Nothing should be special about a particular day of the year but this is not so and cannot be so. Why? This is because there are certain events that had taken place and that will take place in human history that exalts one day above others. Happenings of a particular day makes it peculiar and becomes memorable in the hearts of men.

Such an event may be good or bad, positive or negative. So it is with February 14 that has become indelible in the history of mankind. This becomes a day otherwise known as Valentine's day which was named after Saint Valentine. This man set aside February 14 as a day in a year to demonstrate love to one another. It has been a day that people mark in their diaries to celebrate their love to one another. Every body interested in this celebration has a particular person or group of persons to visit and demonstrate their love to.

They never fail to do so annually in honour of Saint Valentine who initiated it.

The motive of Saint Valentine was said to be pure and Godly. It is to share part of a man's love for God to a fellow or a group of people After all, the Holy Scriptures says,
"And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it is this," You shall love your neighbour as yourself ". Mark 12:30.

The best way to show our love for the Lord is to express same to own fellow human beings. After all, God is a Spirit and cannot be seen with our naked eyes, so we should express our love to mankind who He has made in His image and likeness. You can read more on this in I John 4:1 and for details.

Although love must be shown daily, for three hundred and sixty five days of the year but a special day was set aside to celebrate love by Saint Valentine and it has been embraced by everyone who is keen in it. Love demonstration is daily but its celebration is carried out once a year.

Do you know that February 14 otherwise called Valentine's day has been hijacked by the Devil, Satan and turned into something else? As his custom is,
"The thief does not come except to steal, to kill and to destroy" John 10:10.

In his usual characteristics, he has stolen Valentine's day with the sole aim of killing and destroying.

How?

The good and Godly intention of Saint Valentine has been distorted and had given rise to two other celebrations on February 14. What are these celebrations that look like valentines?

One, Satan has make celebration of LOVE to become a celebration of LUST. Every exchange of gifts on February 14 as been reduced to giving with the aim of lust. What follows gift-giving is illicit affairs and every act of immorality. In actual fact, to some people who have been blindfolded by the Devil, valentine's day is a day to celebrate s-x only. There have been reported and unreported cases of people who engage in s-x on February 14 until they lost their lives. Of what benefit is such a destructive celebration? This is contrary to the plan and intention of the Initiator of the celebration.

Not only this, Satan has filled the hearts of his cohort with evil desires to be celebrated on February 14. How does this happen?

In their deceitful approach to carry out their nefarious activities, certain people have seen February 14 as a day to celebrate their Evil desire that look like love. They set aside Valentine's day as a day to spread out their nets to catch human 'fish' to destroy them. They, in the name of love, lure their victims who could not discern their evil intent of their pursuers to destroy them. They do not mind spending anything on their would - be victims to cover their evil desires.

The words of their mouths portrays love but their inward parts are filled with wickedness. They will not relent until they carry out their evil intentions, when? On valentine's day.

Now beloved reader, what do you celebrate on February 14?
There are three celebrations, love, lust and evil desire (Mark 12:30-31, Colossians 3:5) on February 14. Which one do you celebrate? Which one are you interested in? Be not deceived my reader into celebrating the wrong thing thinking you are on the right path.

Know what Valentine day stands for and celebrate it in a descent and Godly manner.

Do you know that there are men of God who do not want to hear or talk about Valentine Day because of evil activities that have been associated with it?

Satan, the Devil is never tired of distorting, disrupting and destroying good intentions of the Lord, our God. BEWARE! BE NOT DECEIVED!

Stay blessed and prepared for the impending coming of the Lord.
