Not purposed, but positioned
Each day lives to touch
Paths twisted, uncertain
To hope, they will clutch
Unknowing, but willing
Embracing the lost
Enlightening, healing
Discarding the cost
A vessel, an instrument
Giving it all
Regardless, the numbers
Just heeding the call
Relentless, grace given
Unmerited, unearned
Just sharing, reproducing
The lessons well learned
No greater one's gift
Than if used everyday
To have is to give
'Till all's given away
Tomorrow's true hope
Is the course of today
My mentor, my healer
Please lead me, Your way
