Wake Up, America!

JESUS IS ALIVE, and JESUS IS LORD of the United States of America!

America is very sick. God needs you to pray so He can heal our great country. When we pray sincerely--and especially based on the Word--He hears and answers (I John 5:14-15).

God is a Gentleman, and has chosen to give mankind a free will. He rejoices when we invite Him to work in the lives of the leaders of this country--from the top to the "lowest" position (although each one is important!)--and the people to do what is right, according to what His Word says is right (Proverbs 15:8).

God's Word is the "measuring stick"--the Standard. His Word is how we know how to live successfully, freely, prosperously, satisfyingly, and safely.

Prayer is simply talking to God, although there are various forms of it. Prayer also includes listening to God's answer, which may come immediately, but usually comes after a period of time. He is always working!

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding.--Isaiah 40:28, AMPC

The best way to pray, after praying in the Holy Spirit (with the evidence of speaking in tongues--because it is the perfect will of God, prayed by the Spirit of God through us as we yield ourselves to Him)--is to pray God's Word back to Him. The Bible is a legal Book! It is a Book of spiritual laws, which are good for us (just as the laws of the land of our country are supposed to help and protect us). Hallelujah!

Here is a simple plan to help you remember how to pray. (Credit for this acronym goes to Kids Who Pray for the USA, by Stormie O'Martian. Verses for each letter were selected by Tonja K. Taylor.):

P--Praise; R--Repent; A--Ask; Y--Yield

P--I PRAISE You, Father in Heaven, that You always hear me when I pray (John 5:13-15), and You love to help us. You created everything we see (Gen. 1, 2; I Chron. 16:23, and II Peter 3:5). I praise You that Your Word is Truth (John 17:17). I praise You that I can always depend on Your Word to be right and stay the same. I also praise You that I live in the United States of America, where I am free to praise You and pray to You. (I know there have been demonic hinderances to this in some places, but God is quickly overturning the lies and other works of the enemy! Hallelujah!)

R--Father, Your Word also says it is good and pleasing to You for us to pray for "kings and all those in authority" (I Tim. 2:1-3, Proverbs 21:1). Dear Father, our leaders have made many mistakes, and I ask You to forgive them and help them REPENT--to be sorry for their sins and stop doing them, and to become the leaders You created them to be (Prov. 16:10-13, Prov. 29:2).

A--I also ASK that You help the rulers and all the people in our country to wake up and know that You alone are God, that You are the One Who keeps us alive and gives us every good thing. LORD, You have a Covenant with the United States of America, and first of all, with Your Believing Church. LORD, please help us, starting with the Church (The Ekklesia, the Governing Body of Christ) do what's right, like Your Word says, so that You will heal our land and come visit us in wonderful ways (2 Chron. 7:14)! Then we will have the very best life possible on earth, and the United States of America will have You, King Jesus, as it's true LORD. We will also be even more effective at sending Your Word very switftly throughout the earth, for the earth is Yours and all the peoples therein (Psalm 24:1)!

King Jesus, You are ALIVE (Matthew 28:17) and You are LORD (Romans 10:9)!

You are returning very soon, and I rejoice! (Matthew 25:13)
