“Thank you for your order,” most invoices now say. They appreciate our business.

It occurred to me one day that, they were thanking me not only for the money, but for my decision to invest in their company.

An order is a decision--whether it comes from a general to his troops, from a parent to a teacher, or from me to a company--to command something be done in exchange for what I am doing or will do.

Our decisions order our lives.

It also occurred to me that the LORD thanks us for our orders!

By this, I mean how we use our words and actions to accomplish His will in the earth--by releasing "orders" to cause and change things in our lives that reflect Him.

After all, as Psalm 24:1 says (AMPC), The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it, the world and they who dwell in it.

Everything truly belongs to God, and to us, His heirs. But some of it is in the wrong hands (of the enemy), and we must take authority and "order" what we want!

Often, just like when we order something online, there is a waiting period. However, in these Last Days, the "waiting period" is much shorter! Hallelujah!

One thing I think is amazing is that God has limited His actions in the earth to what we order! We are the sons and daughters of the living God (and I’m preaching to myself!). We have the authority in the earth (It intensifies the more we purify our lives from things that don’t please Him, and choose to obey Him. Again, I’m preaching to myself!), because He gave it to us in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 1, 2).

In Isaiah 45:11, He exhorts us to "order" Him: Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker: Would you question Me about things to come concerning My children, and concerning the work of My hands [would you] command Me?

WOW! God telling us to “command Him”?! What?!

What He means (and I don’t know a lot, but I know the LORD is forever and only good, forever faithful, and the Truth Who always means what He says, and only says what He means—Help me, LORD, to always take You at Your Word!), from what I understand, is that the LORD expects and needs us to execute authority with our words, which gives Him the legal right to act on our behalf and others, to accomplish His perfect will in the earth. Our words—our orders (decrees; proclamations), when they agree with God’s Word—also bind the enemy and negate his work. Hallelujah!

For instance, through the years, I’ve learned to say (as soon as I’m awake, whether it’s in the middle of the night, or my normal time to rise) things, such as “Thank You, Father, I am the righteous and it goes well with me (verse)”; “Thank You, Father, You are with me always, and Christ is made unto me wisdom (verse)”; “Thank You, Father, no weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17)”; “Thank You, Father, You are my Good Shepherd Who always leads me in right paths (Psalm 23), and I revere You, so You are teaching me the way to go (Psalm 25)”; “Thank You, Father, Your loving Favor surrounds me as a shield and makes all Grace abound toward me (verse)”; and more.

The best way you can order your life to the glory of God and your own delight and fruitfulness (positive productivity to the glory of God, which always benefits you and others) is to study the Word and meditate (simply thinking about and speaking something repeatedly) it, and get as many Scriptures into your heart and mind—your life, for the Word is Life (John 1:1-4)—as possible!

Every word of God is tried and purified; He is a shield to those who trust and take refuge in Him.—Proverbs 30:5, AMPC

⁶³It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.--John 6:63, AMPC

The Spirit of God; the Spirit of Christ, is infused into His Word. He is the Living Word (John 1)! His Word and Spirit are how He communicates with us. His Word is how He thinks and talks. The more we know about His Word and align with it, the more we will think and talk and act like God, and the more of Heaven we will have on earth!

Hallelujah!

The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom (skillful and godly Wisdom)! [For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation).—Proverbs 4:7, AMPC

“You have what you say,” says the LORD in many places: Mark 11:23-24, etc.

By the way, one of the best ways to “place your order”—get what you want in life (according to God’s Word, of course!)—is to pray in the Holy Spirit.

[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him,--Ephesians 1:17, AMPC

That is praying the perfect will of God! Hallelujah! He is so good to us to give us His Word and His Holy Spirit.

Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].—Romans 12:2, AMPC

Our good, good Father God only wants to help and bless us. Why do we ever doubt Him? He is the Reason we are alive and doing as well as we are! Great is His faithfulness and mercy to us! His lovingkindness is better than life!

No worries about asking or ordering “wrongly”—just draw close to the LORD (which means you talk to Him (that’s what “prayer” is at its most intimate level—communicating heart-to-heart, spirit-to-spirit, with your Father God!); you read and meditate on His Word; you proclaim His Word; you do what the Word says, and repent (which doesn’t mean just ask for forgiveness; it means stop doing the wrong thing and start doing the right thing, according to what God says is right). He will help you understand what to ask Him for.

Again, this is where praying in the Holy Spirit is the most helpful; you are praying the perfect will of God, when you pray in the Holy Spirit.

So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.--Romans 8:26, AMPC

If you are not baptized in the Holy Spirit, you must first be a true Believer in the LORD Jesus Christ, and then, you can simply ask the LORD to fill you with Himself, with the evidence of speaking in tongues! It's not spooky, it's supernatural--for service to help others! It's amazing, and mysterious, and you get an instant "foreign language"--without ever having to study!

It is the language of Heaven; the language of angels, and when you pray in the Spirit, you are "ordering" angelic help to accomplish God's will being done in your life and others!

So take your place of command, as a righteous son or daughter of the Most High God, and order your life (not in your name, but in the Name of Jesus!)--and this world that is yours to be in alignment with the Word of God--today!
