Have More Heaven on Earth

by Tonja Taylor
4/20/2022 / Christian Living

Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.--Jeremiah 33:6, KJV

How do you have an "awesome" life--peace, truth, freedom, abundance, divine health, strength, joy, etc.--more of Heaven on earth?

Forgive!

Let go of all bitterness, resentment, anger, disappointment, unmet expectations, judgments, criticisms, fault-finding, etc.

31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.--Ephesians 4:31-32, KJV

People (including you and me, much of the time!) are all about themselves. It is rare that someone is really trying to offend us. It's just that the flesh and devils and different expectations, experiences, and values clash.

You've probably heard it said that, when you hold unforgiveness against someone, it really hurts you--not them, or at least, it doesn't hurt them nearly as much as it hurts you! It is bondage.

(Ask me how I know!)

So be free--forgive others for what they've done to you--and what they didn't do that they should have.

Ask God to forgive them for all the wrong they've done to you.

Ask God to forgive them for all the wrong they've done to others.

Then, remember to ask God to forgive for holding all this junk ("ought") against others, and believe that He chooses to forgive them, and you.

After that, remember to forgive yourself; if God forgives you, who are you to hold ought--unforgiveness--against yourself?

If you can't forgive--and sometimes there are such deep strongholds--even through the generations in your family line--that it can take the delivering power of God by anointed ministers to help you break free.

However, as a born-again Believer in the LORD Jesus Christ, you have a direct line to the Deliverer Himself!

Then, remember that God is Love (I John 4:8), and

It took me a few decades to realize these things.

With the help of God, you can do this.

Jesus forgave all people, for all time, as He shed His pure blood, and took on all the sins and abominations of the human population for all time, while He died the most excruciating death for us on the cross.

"Father, forgive them, for they know what they do," He said (Luke 23:34).

Now that is truly awesome!
