And we have the prophetic word [made] firmer still. You will do well to pay close attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dismal (squalid and dark) place, until the day breaks through [the gloom] and the Morning Star rises (comes into being) in your hearts.—2 Peter 1:19, AMPC

Some people literally worship the stars---in the sky, or in the movies; by reading and--for some unwise reason--believing horoscopes; by revering the constellations (called the Zodiac), which is worshiping the creature/creation instead of the Creator, Jesus (Romans 1:25)!

Laurie Beth Jones, in one of her books, says that we all have stardust in our bones.

Angels are sometimes mentioned as stars in the Word, but we are never to worship angels; they are created beings like us! Also, any angel truly from our holy, faithful God, will always stop us from trying to worship him or her, and direct us to worship the one true God--Jesus the Morning Star!

There is only one true star that is worthy of our worship: The LORD Jesus Christ, the Morning Star!

I, Jesus, have sent My messenger (angel) to you to witness and to give you assurance of these things for the churches (assemblies). I am the Root (the Source) and the Offspring of David, the radiant and brilliant Morning Star.--Revelation 22:16, AMPC

Jesus is The Star--the Best-Selling Author of all time; He wrote the Holy Bible!

He is the King of kings and the LORD of lords, and when He returns, all eyes will see Him—The Star—the Show-Stopper! He is the LORD of the miracles! He is the LORD Who heals us! He is the LORD Who is our Supply; our Defender; our Restorer; our Intercessor on High!

Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth shall gaze upon Him and beat their breasts and mourn and lament over Him. Even so [must it be]. Amen (so be it).--Revelation 1:7, AMPC

Jesus Christ, the Morning Star, is coming very soon--and bringing the dawning of the New Day with Him! Are you ready?

25 Only hold fast to what you have until I come. 26 And he who overcomes (is victorious) and who obeys My commands to the [very] end [doing the works that please Me], I will give him authority and power over the nations; 27 And he shall rule them with a sceptre (rod) of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, and [his power over them shall be] like that which I Myself have received from My Father; 28 And I will give him the Morning Star. 29 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the [Holy] Spirit says to the assemblies (churches).—Revelation 2:25-29
