CHARACTERISTICS OF GOD: Bible Study

When we understand God’s Character; we understand God more fully and seemingly contradicting relatable Scriptures, no longer contradict….

 

1). God is Without Need; He is self-sustaining, John 5:26

2). God is Without origin, Colossians 1:17

3). God is Immutable; He never changes, Malachi 3:6

4). God is All-Powerful; Omnipotent, Psalm 33:6

5). God is All-Knowing; Omniscient, Isaiah 46:9-10

6). God is Omnipresent; He is Always Everywhere, Psalm 139:7-10

7). God is of Perfect Justice; He is angry with the wicked every day (Psalm 7:11), Deuteronomy 32:4

& vengeful against evil

8). God is Faithful; He cannot lie, Isaiah 25:1, Hebrews 6:18 & Titus 1:2

9). God is Merciful, Deuteronomy 4:31

10). God is Gracious, Isaiah 30:18

11). God is Holy, Isaiah 6:3

12). God is Perfect; He cannot make mistakes, Psalm 18:30

13). God is Great, Habakkuk 3:4

14). God Hates Sin, Psalm 11:5

15). His Wrath is evitable against all wickedness, nearly all of the Book of Revelation

16). God is outside of time; He has no end and no beginning. He is Eternal, Isaiah 46:10

17). A God of Perfect Order, Ecclesiastes 3:2-8

18). He is Longsuffering, 2Peter 3:9

19). He is Supreme; AWESOME and awe-inspiring. He is above ALL, Deuteronomy 10:17-22 & Psalm 68:35

20). He is Light & The Creator of ALL things, even math & science, Genesis 1:3 & Colossians 1:16

21). The LORD hates all evil, Proverbs 6:16-19 & Psalm 97:10

22). The LORD hates and loves at the same time
