Just Say It!

But the centurion replied to Him, Lord, I am not worthy or fit to have You come under my roof; but only speak the word, and my servant boy will be cured.--Matthew 8:8, AMPC

"Just say it"--Yes! Please do! Just say the Word!

As I was meditating on the Word this morning, speaking aloud a list of Scriptures, I realized that, even though I wasn't feeling excited or really "up" and such, that I was investing wisely in my future. What I was doing was not passionate, but I was not disengaged.

I know that, through the decades, the Word of God had saved my life many times; comforted and redirected me when traumas had occurred; given me the wisdom and direction I needed when I was seeking guidance; protected, healed, and delivered me from the enemy; given me victory over wrong thoughts and situations; and caused me to receive more abundantly what Jesus had already paid for with His blood.

Hallelujah!

Much of these wonderful things have occurred in my life because the LORD taught me early (Praise Him!) to read and write out and speak His Word!

The sower sows the Word.--Mark 4:14, AMPC

No matter if you feel you are getting thing out of it or not, please open your Bible (or look on an app online or on your phone!), and ask the LORD to lead you to Scriptures (even just one!) to meditate (which siimply means to think about over and over, till it really gets into your heart and soul, at which point it will affect your life!)

⁶Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. ⁷And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.--Philippians 4:6-7, AMPC

The LORD will help you. He can do much with little! May He inspire you today and help you take action to simply take the Word--even one verse--and read it and read it and say it and say it. He will help you, and His living Word will always work in you and for you, in ways far beyond what you can imagine!

²⁰Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—Ephesians 3:20, AMPC

Jesus--the Living Word (John 1:1-5)--will continue to help you learn to flow with His ways. Hallelujah!
