JOURNEY TO THE RAPTURE

Life as we know it, will soon change forever…..

And even now, just simply being out in public can feel like a strange and unusual encounter. There’s an overwhelming sense that we just do NOT belong to this world anymore. It seems like we are on the outside looking in. We feel like strangers among our own kind and in our own environment. It’s surreal. It's because we are set apart. Our spirits are more aware than ever that we are NOT of this world. This is not our real home and we are about to depart from this place…..never again to live in these mortal bodies we have grown so comfortable in…..

But for those who are following the news headlines aligning seamlessly with end of days Scripture, comfort is beginning to fade like the beauty of youth and a strong desire to leave this world and live in the Lord’s Physical Presence is blossoming ever brighter.

Because we are living for eternity, soon to be on the other side of eternity where there is no pain, no sorrow, no tears, only JOY and PEACE and REST…

Unknown treasures await us that love the LORD, so why not look with great anticipation for His Appearing?!

Yes ordinary life has taken on what seems like a new dimension of meaning and excitement as we live for and journey towards the RAPTURE.

This new dimension is even helpful for daily life though, as we wait patiently for our redemption. Allow me to explain….

Say something bad happens to your world; something related to these end times, (like everything bad IS.) Say there is a terribly violent storm where you live which damages your home or your bank freezes your account or the power goes off for more than a few hours. For those living for the Rapture, these kinds of things can be looked at as another sign, an even more obvious and personal one that we are about to see the Lord in the clouds.

In this case, rather than panic and become depressed, reactions that are totally natural and understandable, we can actually see negative outcomes as an adventure; part of the brief, nightmarish, but surmountable journey to the Rapture.

As we approach the end of the earthly road we have been struggling to travel for so long and say hello to a brand new SUPERNATURAL life, where struggles are a thing of the past!

All we must do is hang on until that AMAZING MOMENT; bearing whatever comes.

Always contemplating that all difficulty is only temporary is like that saying about seeing the light at the end of the tunnel…..

(Not to say that this is easy, but it’s a much more reliable way to cope with difficulty, even if only accomplished on a very small scale…..)

“Keep your eye on the prize” is another one that fits nicely for a time such as this….(Except that this THIS is unlike any other!)

So let us keep looking up and encouraging one another in Christ and shouting from the rooftops that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD AND HE IS ABOUT TO SHOW UP IN THE SKY!

Hallelujah!
