Your Holy Health - Part 26 - Three Cheap Germ Killers

The truth is that, if you want truly divine health in every area of your life, then you must put the Word of God first. His Word, which is His will--His ways--is the only way to enjoy the fullness of life (Zoe; John 10:10) that the LORD Jesus Christ died to give us!

15 But what can I say? For He has both spoken to me and He Himself has done it. I must go softly [as in solemn procession] all my years and my sleep has fled because of the bitterness of my soul. 16 O Lord, by these things men live; and in all these is the life of my spirit. O give me back my health and make me live! 17 Behold, it was for my peace that I had intense bitterness; but You have loved back my life from the pit of corruption and nothingness, for You have cast all my sins behind Your back.--Isaiah 38:15-17, AMPC

Personally, my husband and I (and thousands of other healthy Believers!) rehearse God's goodness--by writing what we are thankful for.

Be happy [in your faith] and rejoice and be glad-hearted continually (always);--I Thess. 5:16, AMPC

We also stay healthy by praying to the LORD and praising and worshiping Him every day, for He is good, and His mercies endure forever!

Jesus turned around and, seeing her, He said, Take courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well. And at once the woman was restored to health.--Mark 9:22, AMPC

I am not a certified health coach, nor a nutritionist, nor a doctor. However, I have used these effectively, and know others who use them for cleaning and killing germs.

Now I'm going to share with you three very cheap and easy-to-get anti-germ solutions for cleaning. You can also drink the last one (ACV) of them, to cleanse your body internally.

(1) Tea tree oil -- it has a strong, rather bitter-smelling odor (to me), but it is great for killing germs! You can buy the essential oil and mix a few drops with water to put in a sprayer, or just pour directly on surfaces you want to clean. You can buy the pure oil or a mixture, and mix it with aloe vera and use it as a hand sanitizer. You can find this online or at a health food store.

(2) White vinegar -- The smell is strong, and some recipes use this, but it has no nutritional value. This cheap strong stuff is best used for cleaning, in my opinion. I wipe counters and glass with it (it doesn't leave streaks. Yay!) and add it to mop water, and also sometimes to the dishwasher for the rinse cycle.

(3) Apple cider vinegar (ACV) -- This is excellent to cleanse your internal system/digestion. This vinegar is produced when apples ferment. It is strong, and it is recommended that, for every tablespoon of ACV you ingest, you add a tablespoon of honey to mix with it, in 8 or more ounces of water. It is good to help get your body back into an alkaline state--which is the opposite of acidic. Acidic digestion systems are where the bad germs love to live and cause trouble, so we want ours to be alkaline!

You can also clean surfaces with it. Also, during the COVID craze, when I couldn’t find hand sanitizer to buy, I’d keep a bottle of ACV in my car to cleanse my hands after going places, touching money, gas pumps, doors, people, etc.

The LORD is always for us. He is the ultimate loving, protective Father, and when we are following Him and listening (which is part of following!), He will give us wisdom about this and every other part of life.

He is good, forever, and His will is that we have long, strong, fulfilling lives!

The Lord will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.--Psalm 29:11, AMPC

Always remember that good health is a gift from the LORD, and we are to steward it well. As one minister said, if you just had one car to drive throughout your life, you'd take good care of it!

Our bodies are certainly vehicles, for when we have believed in the LORD Jesus Christ as our Savior and LORD by receiving His forgiveness of our sins by the shedding of His pure blood at the cross over 2,000 years ago, then His Spirit lives in our heart.

For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!--Romans 8:15, AMPC

He is with us always. Hallelujah!

However we are healed and have divine health and strength and cognizance, it is because of God's goodness! Blessed be the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endures forever!

For You, O Lord, are good, and ready to forgive [our trespasses, sending them away, letting them go completely and forever]; and You are abundant in mercy and loving-kindness to all those who call upon You.--Psalm 86:5, AMPC

When we release our faith (trust, belief) in something, we expect it to work. I do ask God for wisdom, and believe and know that He leads me to products that will benefit me, such as tea tree oil, white vinegar, and ACV.

However, I know that, above all, it is His blessing, His faithful, unchanging love for me that causes these things to do me good!

And He said to her, Daughter, your faith (your trust and confidence in Me, springing from faith in God) has restored you to health. Go in (into) peace and be continually healed and freed from your [distressing bodily] disease.--Mark 5:34, AMPC
