It DOES Matter!

I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore  choose life, that you and your descendants may live--Deuteronomy 30:19, AMPC

About 30 years ago, when I was a freshman in college, I remember doing and saying things that weren't pleasing to God, and declaring, "It doesn't matter!" Obviously, I'd listened to the enemy's lies. God has taught me that there is more that matters than we know!

Yes, what we do--and even don't do--does matter! 

It all comes down to choices.

Our choices are guided by various things, such as: what we believe; what we value; our habits; our experiences; our education and training; how closely we follow the Word of God; the attitudes and actions of those around us; and our own words. 

Choices can be a matter of life or death.

Our faithful Daddy God is so good and merciful to us, that, even when we've made wrong choices; even when we've been blatantly rebellious in making wrong choices, He loves us so much, that He will help us--if we want His help--to be delivered from these wrong situations! Hallelujah! Ask me how I know!

Great is the faithfulness of our Father God!

Even to unbelievers, the unsaved, the unregenerate person, He is merciful! He rains on the just and the unjust; the saved and the unsaved. 

His will from the beginning (Genesis 1) was for all people to live in love and joy and peace, protection and freedom and abundance and more, every day; to walk and talk with Him; to have Heaven on earth! 

For You make him to be blessed and a blessing forever; You make him exceedingly glad with the joy of Your presence.--Psalm 21:6, AMPC

Others are watching our lives. By the help of the LORD, let us make choices that honor and glorify Him, so the world may see Jesus the Savior! 

Quick prayer: Dear Father God, I want my life to bring You glory. I want others to be drawn to You, by the saltiness of my soul. Please guide me by Your Word and Your Spirit, in Your name, amen.
