Love your neighbor as you Love yourself.

SUMMARY:

Do you love your neighbor? I'm not talking about people that you go to church with, but people you meet on a everyday basis? Do you love them? So many of us including myself miss it in this area of walking in love. Sure we love those who love us, and some don't even love the ones that love them. But for the most part the average person will tend to love the ones that love them. Many of us cannot walk in love because we are not putting our trust in God the way we need too. If Jesus could ask God to forgive those that brutalized and crucified him and Stephen could ask God to forgive those who were killing him with stones.

We can surely walk in love because we have not had to face crucifixation and torture or had someone pelt us with stones. It is not easy to love those who hate you and misuse you, but if you put your faith in God and cast your cares on him he will enable you to love them. A certain person had been coming against a lady for years with malicious intent and for years they battled on and on and they were both Christians! But finally the first lady got a revelation and she stopped fighting the one who had been antagonizing her and began to pray for her instead.

At first she had to force herself to pray for the woman but then her heart began to soften and her prayers became more and more sincere. The other woman did not change the other woman continued to try to get the first woman to fight with her, and she became angrier and angrier because she could no longer engage the sister in a fight.

All kinds of tragedies' occurred in the second woman's life it seemed as if the whole earth had decided to fight her because of her evil heart. The first sister received blessing after blessing and went on to enjoy a wonderful prosperous life. You see when the first lady decided to cast her care and walk in Love, the Hand of God was released against the second woman. And I am in no way saying pray for people so God can get them! I'm saying pray for them so that you can be children of your father and if the other person does not change God will deal with them.

PRAYER:

Father forgive me for not walking in love the way that I am supposed too. Forgive me for feeling I have to avenge myself when someone hurts me. Forgive me for not letting my light shine the way that I am supposed too. I repent today and ask you to help me to change and become a better person. In Jesus Name. Amen.
