1 Kings 3: 3
Solomon loved the Lord, walking [at first] in the statutes and practices of David his father, only he sacrificed and burned incense in the high places.
SUMMARY:
King Solomon was the wisest man in the world at in his time. He loved the Lord greatly at first! But his love for various women caused him to forsake his first love, God. Many of us were so in love with God at first, but the enemy dangled something in front of our eyes that we desired, and we took of the forbidden fruit and we ended up forsaking God. God is a God of love if you truly repent and turn away from evil you can be restored. However if you continue to partake of the forbidden fruit, what hope is there for you?
PRAYER:
Father forgive me for my sins, forgive me for turning my back on you, cleanse me of my sins. Restore me to a pleasing place in you and let me keep my eyes on you and walk in holiness from this day forth. In Jesus Name. Amen.
