Caffeine

The cleverest concoctions ever created,
The canonical accordances that are always caffeinated,
You could ride the winds, swim the Grand Canyon bends,
Laugh five thousand times over, and do it all again.
The extra kick, the spin, the speed,
The call of caffeine on which you feed.
The drive, the action, the penalty's price,
Drink it down, double the dose, no amount can suffice.
Careen the castles! The night's just begun!
Two hours' sleep, and ten awake you've overdone.
No time or space is needed tonight,
The ride is here, accepting the invite.
"Ah! Another drink, no fear!
You hold tight in the back, I'll steer!"
The adventure begins, and ends in a shock.
No time or need to look at the clock.
Take drink, aloft the clouds of heaven
Take heed, and drop, asleep at seven.
Arise, for the hour is in your hand!
Wipe the dust from your eyes, the sand.
Toast to the night you've ridden the winds,
You've conquered yourselves, you've drank away sins.
Lift your eyes toward the signs you send,
Wake long, think not, and drink your caffeine again.
