The Bulls
bellow as males often .
do, masculine grunts beginning
with conversation across the
fence, then a dialogue of disagreement since
territorial interests are involved, then
prancing in the pasture
leads to several rounds of head-butting.
Through a separation of barbed wire
anxious eyes watch, each
harem proud of their men, the
same kind of attention
male species receive in humankind
where they too think they are King of
the hills they roam.
