Was that You?

Hey! How are you? Didn't I see you just yesterday? It was at the grocery store, no wait, I remember now, you were sitting in the waiting room at the hospital.
I had gone there to see a friend and I noticed you there but I didn't say anything. Who was that you were talking to? Did somebody die? She seemed awfully upset.
Come to think of it, I've been seeing you everywhere lately. You were talking to that crazy guy we see walking up and down Main St., talking to himself. Weren't you kind of nervous being near him?
You know, if I had your money I wouldn't be hanging around this town. I would be on vacation somewhere, maybe Tahiti. Wouldn't that be nice? I don't understand why you waste your time on those old folks down at the nursing home, either. They don't even know their own name, half the time. I almost envy your empathy for others.
Every time I turn around, you seem to be there, tending to some broken heart or helping somebody who's down and out. You're amazing. I wish I could be more like you.
Jesus, will You teach me?
The Lord is on me to share my story, to write for the hurting and to help the confused push away the clouds.
I've begun sharing my writing according to the Lord's timing. He's calling His children.
