Dear Father,
Remind us that our children are a gift from you, and we are blessed to have them. (Psalm 127:3-5)
Help us to train them in the way they should go, so that when they are old they will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
Remind us that children can be foolish. Help us to give them appropriate discipline so they don't bring us shame. (Proverbs 22:15; Proverbs 29:15)
May we teach our children about you, Lord, so their well-being will be great. (Isaiah 54:13)
Cause our children to obey us. Don't let us provoke them to anger, but may we bring them up in the discipline and instruction of you. (Ephesians 6:1,4)
May we be righteous and walk in integrity so our children will be blessed after us. (Proverbs 20:7)
In the name of Jesus we pray,
Amen
