Have you been falsely accused?

by Chris Umeweni
12/09/2008 / Self Help

It is never by accident that you are reading this article now. You would have made a mistake but God really loves you and still wants you to remain in the path of life to which He called you. He does not want you to be deterred in your Christian walk. It is little wonder the book of Isaiah says:

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee saying, this is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right and when ye turn to the left. (Isaiah 30:21)

And I tell you the truth now; this article is actually the voice of God telling you what to do.

It indeed hurts so bad when you tell every truth you can about a matter and yet no one seems to believe you. Even the friends and loved ones you have thought would believe seem to be against you.
Even as you read, you might have been falsely accused of doing something in your business place which you know nothing about. Perhaps some group of colleagues planned it to set you up. And now no one believes you are innocent of the whole matter. You know within you that your position in your workplace is on the line as a result of this or perhaps you have been sacked.
Hey! God sees. He knows. (Just read on).

Have you been falsely accused of stealing something or killing someone of which you know you have no hand in? Don't cry. Don't be broken.

Perhaps as a minister of God, people who have seen God's power and grace so great and unusual in your ministry have accused you of using charms. You are meant to be smiling because you know what Jesus said concerning it:

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you and persecute you and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad; for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. (Matthew 5:11,12)

Without such persecutions, then it means we are not Christians. Again I say to you, Rejoice!
Please read on and be the more comforted.

Are you a man or woman reading this, and have been accused of being a wizard or witch. People have said that you are the cause of their misfortunes and setbacks; and you know that you are not part of what they accuse you of. Maybe due to this, you have been ridiculed and even been put to open shame. Cry no more. God has seen it. Hear what God said to Moses concerning His people Israel as they were been tortured while in Egypt:

And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians.... (Exodus 3:7,8)

If God said this concerning their situation, He is still the same God today and is still saying it to you.

No matter the way you have been falsely accused. Is it in your marriage; in your family; or maybe among your friends?
No matter where or how;

The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest. (Exodus 14:14 Amp)

Is He not the One who owns the earth and its fullness?

No matter how you have been falsely accused, never submit to the advice of the deceiver - the devil. He comes with some attractive ideas either by speaking to your mind or heart directly or through a friend or loved one; but the end of such ideas is destruction. The funny but sad thing about it is that after you have done his plans, he leaves you with so much guilt and pain while he laughs at you.
Oh! How I hate the devil, the liar and deceiver of the world.

Dear, the bible says people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). It is my earnest prayer that you get this knowledge that I am giving to you and keep it in the midst of your heart.

When Jesus was commissioned to heal the broken-hearted (Luke 4:18), He also had the Spirit of understanding to go with it. Therefore, He understands. Jesus is never self-centred, that was why He died that all men might be free.

Let us, then hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we have a great High Priest who has gone into the very presence of God - Jesus, the Son of God. Our High Priest is not the one who cannot feel sympathy for our weaknesses. On the contrary, we have a High Priest who was tempted in every way that we are, but did not sin. Let us have confidence, then, and approach God's throne, where there is grace. There we will receive mercy and find grace to help us when we need it. (Hebrew 4:14-16 GNB)

You see, because Jesus has paid the price, we can boldly go to God in prayer and ask for anything we need in the name of Jesus.
Never fight your battles. I will advise you to do exactly what King Hezekiah did when he received a letter from Sennacherib that so much troubled him:

And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messenger, and read it; and Hezekiah went up into the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD. And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O Lord God of Israel, which dwells between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth. LORD, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, LORD, thine eyes, and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God...,
Now therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee save thou us out of his hands, that all kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only. Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib King of Assyria I have heard. (2 Kings 19:14-16,19,20)

You should do same. After you have been falsely accused, smile to yourself, go into your room and lock yourself. Out of your heart, pour out the matter to God. Table every bit of the matter to Him and I assure you, God will arise and fight for you.

For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, the Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God. (Hebrews 10:30,31)

God never fails. Give Him back His Words as you pray.
Was it not Him who said:

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. (Exodus 20:16)

So, cheer up! Go do the right thing and watch God handle the case.

Maybe you have never been told this truth or gained such knowledge before; and it has made you involve yourself in things that go against the Will of God, I tell you now, get back to God with a heart of remorse and He will forgive you. Do not allow the devil make a mince meat out of you.

Now go on and take the accusations to God in prayers and stop wasting time reporting to human beings.
God has being waiting for you all these while.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. (1 Peter 5:7)
