On Any Given Day

Beautiful One, what has happened on any given day?

Here we are almost upon another year and it is only fitting that as we say good-bye to the old and prepare to embrace the new, for us to reflect on what this past year has meant to us.
I think that as we reflect and look back, maybe we all could agree that we could've or wished we would have done things a little differently-better maybe, used more wisdom, sought out more counsel, taken our time more, etc. You know, hindsight is always great but it's just that -its looking at what is behind us, with what we know now -after the fact.

Look back from where you are today and you'll see that on any given day trials arose that we didn't anticipate coming, on any given day the way we handled them was left up to what kind of day we were having.
On any given day we were shown kindness and on any given day we had the opportunity to be the extension of it. On any given day, we loved with all of our hearts and on any given day the heart we gave away didn't come back in one piece. On any given day, we were an exception to the rule or the very excuse as to why it was broken.

On any given day we struggled to smile and on any given day we laughed until we cried. On any given day we leaped off the boat in faith and on any given day, Jesus carried us back into it. On any given day we set out with a plan and a purpose and on any given day we were reminded that it takes fortitude and tenacity to guard us as it comes to pass.

On any given day we were left scratching our heads and wondering why? And on any given day everything seemed to just make sense.

On any given day we said our last good-bye to a loved one and on any given day we said hello to a new friend. On any given day a marriage broke in pieces and on any given day one began to heal and start anew.
On any given day we had to press through when we felt like giving up and on any given day we had the strength of angels. On any given day we had not a care in the world and on any given day we realized the world needs someone that cares.

On any given day we were overlooked for an opportunity and on any given day we learned what is to find a better one. On any given day we experienced trials and hardships and on any given day our deliverance and breakthrough just happened our way. On any given day we had to forgive those who wounded us, just as, on any given day we needed the same forgiveness for ourselves.

As we look back over this year, on any given day, the person you see finishing this year, is not the same one that started it. We are different, changed, matured, wiser.

Our trials were not meant to destroy us but to teach us, our pain was not to wound us but to. allow us to arise with compassion. Our tears have never fell without purpose. Our questions didn't feed our doubt as much as they erased it.

On any given day we were weak or strong, happy or sad, faithful or fearful but don't forget that "all things work together" in the lives of Gods children and whatever we walked through for whatever reason, on any given day-it has molded and reshaped us, prepared, polished and placed us to where we are today......

Beautiful One, Just Believe, Because Great Things Happen, On Any Given Day......
