Woman of God

DOMINUS VOBISCUM!

OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST visited this world in fulfillment of the Scriptures. He was emphatic and repetitive in declaring that mission statement throughout the duration of His teaching ministry. The limitless and immortal GOD limited Himself and worked within the parameters and framework of the Holy Book of Truth. Ergo, everything He uttered and performed has Scriptural basis and must be based on Scriptures and no other because that is what He followed and fulfilled. He did not subject Himself or limited Himself to any other catechetical manuscript or any science book. He was never scientific. He never used scientific semantics in His teachings and His acts have no scientific basis. The prime examples are His conception and His Resurrection and the acts He performed in between such unscientific yet unequalled phenomena.

In this terrestrial world, a woman becomes a natural mother, whether married or not, if she conceives a child by means of sexual intercourse or any method that involves the fertilization of the egg cell by the sperm. On the part of the Son of Man who is GOD, no such natural conception materialized. Joseph the Carpenter was not the flesh and blood father of the Messiah. He had no consanguine contribution to the divine flesh of the Messiah. The virgin from Nazareth was already pregnant even before the betrothal. The angel of GOD informed the carpenter about it. It cannot be explained from a scientific viewpoint. Yet, the genealogy of the Rabbi was traced from Joseph the Carpenter from the House of David. The basis was not natural. The basis was a prophecy or simply the word of GOD and its transforming power. It was the prophecy of the prophet Nathan upon the lineage of David, as follows, verbatim:

"The Lord also reveals to you that he will establish a house for you. And when your time comes and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your heirs after you, sprung from your loins and I will make his kingdom firm. It is he who will build a house for my name, and I will make his royal throne firm forever. I will be a father to him and he shall be a son to me. And if he does wrong, I will correct him with the rod of men and with human chastisements, but I will not withdraw my favor from him as I withdrew it from your predecessor Saul, whom I removed from my presence. Your house and your kingdom shall endure forever before me, your throne shall stand firm forever." (2 Samuel 7:11-16)

Likewise, the transformation of the virgin from Nazareth to a divine woman from a natural woman was by virtue of the word of GOD. It was not natural and scientific. Did she not reply to the divine invitation at the Annunciation: "Be it done unto me according to thy word." Everything about the immaculate and divine conception of the Son of Man in the womb of the virgin was by the transforming power of the word of GOD. There was no natural element involved whatsoever. It was the same power of the word that transformed Eve from a divine woman to a natural woman. Eve's defiance of the word or commandment not to eat the forbidden fruit led to her transformation from divine to human.

Hence, the big picture is such that Heaven and earth were created by the word. Everything in heaven and earth revolves around such word. Every act of the human person is measured upon such word. Compliance with or defiance of such word determines the fate of each human person in the final reckoning.

The primary Scriptural basis why the Son of Man never addressed the virgin from Nazareth "Mother" follows,

" I will increase your suffering in childbearing and you will give birth to your children in pain." (Genesis 3:16)

Recall that such direct divine testimony was issued frontally to the insanely defiant woman immediately after she committed a series of fatal blunders. Sin has a negative exponential or cascading effect upon the attitude and behavior of the wayward woman created divine. It is like a steep waterfall plunge. After double-crossing her Creator with the ingestion of the fruit of death in connivance with the wily serpent, she hid herself. When her back was against the wall, she threw her accusing fingers to others apart from herself for her willful and deliberate misdeed. She did not ask forgiveness for the lethal miscue and did not bother to address her Creator "Lord" or "Master". She failed to realize that as a creature she cannot be more than a slave. So, the direct testimony uttered on her face by her Creator was the curse of motherhood that GOD in His anger and Divine Justice imposed upon the woman who acted independently of GOD in conspiracy with Satan. In conspiring with the ancient serpent, Eve contaminated her divine self with the diabolic. That is the foremost Biblical reason why the Son of Man cannot and did not address the virgin from Nazareth "Mother" throughout the duration of His visitation and even as a child in the temple. He would be imposing the curse upon Himself and He would negate the angelic salutation of the Father that the virgin from Nazareth is the "blessed among women". He can never do that because He is one with the Father and the Holy Spirit and it was the Father who imposed the curse on the woman that willfully and deliberately harbored the serpentine seal.

It is very clear that natural motherhood is a curse. It is not a gift. On the basis of Scriptural logic, natural motherhood never existed in the garden prior to the commission of the most heinous crime in the history of mankind. There is nothing natural in heaven. The act of Eve and Adam was a heinous crime because the insanely defiant couple was thrown out of the garden and was meted the sentence of natural death.

It is very clear then from Sacred Scriptures that the natural mother is not a creation of GOD. The word mother was never mentioned at the Creation. It was the negative aftermath of a divine woman that acted independently of GOD and embraced and savored the words of the ancient serpent that made her human and a cursed woman that all women in this world from generation to generation inherited including the obscure virgin from the little infamous town of Nazareth. However, when GOD the Father chose the virgin as His "highly favored daughter" and "blessed among women" and upon her wholehearted acceptance of the word as "the handmaid of the Lord", her identity as a cursed woman was blotted out in an instant. As "blessed among women", the curse of natural motherhood was extinguished that she will no longer conceive and give birth naturally. Her conception by the "power of the Holy Spirit" is incontestably not natural. Likewise, the birth of the Son of Man cannot be natural but divine because the curse of natural motherhood was lifted. It is for this reason that she addressed her "Woman". It is strictly in compliance with and fulfillment of the Scriptures that makes the Son of Man "my beloved son with whom I am well pleased." The virgin from Nazareth is the "Woman of GOD".

As the highly favored daughter of the Father, she is "Woman" of GOD the Father. She conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit. Hence, she is "Woman" of GOD the Holy Spirit. She delivered the Son of GOD. Then, she is "Woman" of GOD the Son. The Son of Man never called the virgin "Mother" because she is not the mother of the Father. She is His daughter. Obviously, she is not the mother of the Holy Spirit. Had The Rabbi called the virgin "Mother" He would be acting independently of the Father and the Holy Spirit and He would be contradicting and demolishing the Oneness and Indivisibility of the HOLY TRINITY the supernatural identity or divinity of the one and only absolute reality who is GOD. There simply is no Scriptural basis of labeling the virgin from Nazareth "Mother of GOD". Even a scientific basis is wanting. No natural law is applicable.

"You belong to what is below; I belong to what is above. You belong to this world a world which cannot hold me." (John 8:23)

The world cannot hold GOD bound to its natural, human or civil laws unless He allows it because the world of humankind was just part of His Creation. Everything in the universe is subject to Him. He cannot address the virgin from Nazareth "mother" because He would be subjecting Himself to natural laws that do not apply to Him as one with the Creator. It is not consistent with His unnatural conception. Besides, natural motherhood is a restricted facet of womanhood in this terrestrial world. Women like nuns cannot be considered natural mothers unless they conceive. He cannot impose such restrictions upon Himself. If at all, He restricted Himself to the words of the Sacred Scriptures that He followed and fulfilled. He did not subject Himself to anything natural that is decidedly inferior to His divinity.
If He subjected Himself to natural laws then He will not showcase How He walked unperturbed on stormy waters, He should not have calmed a storm that made His disciples fearful in their boat. He would not cause a fruitless fig tree to wither so swiftly in front of His disciples. He would not bring back to natural life the pungent decomposing corpse of Lazarus. He would have allowed His mangled and brutalized flesh to wither naturally but He never did. Can such kind of Person performing one unnatural act after another have a natural mother? Give it a thought!

"Who is my mother? Who are my brothers? Then extending his hand toward his disciples, he said, There are my mother and my brothers. Whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is brother and sister and mother to me." (Matthew 12: 48-50)

Following the wisdom of the preceding holy utterance of the Son of Man, any human person who does the will of GOD or any person who follows the order or word of GOD is all in all to Him as a branch to a tree. That person is everything to Him. There is no such thing as "blood is thicker than water" to GOD. The bottom line is compliance with His holy omnipotent words that is often taken for granted as simple language of humanity and not the language of divinity that it really is. The prototype of such truth and reality is the person of the obscure virgin from Nazareth that upon her total submission to the will or order of GOD was transformed in an instant to the daughter, spouse and mother of GOD all at the same time that was why He addressed her "woman" and not "mother" to distinguish Himself from the human that persistently and inexorably brings Him down to its level from generation to generation. His teachings keep falling on deaf ears.

Scripturally and scientifically there is no solid ground to propagate and market that the virgin from Nazareth is the natural mother of GOD. All Christian religions insist otherwise and then quarrel and argue among themselves what kind of mother she was. It has been that way from generation to generation. It is a vicious cycle!

Peace to everyone!
