My Mansion
by Marijo Phelps Ah, my Father it is difficult to wait For the house we are building to be finished But so much more for those I love To come to Your gate And ask Jesus to be their Lord. Sometimes the desert Would turn to windswept years Were it not For the indestructible sterling thread Of the love of Your promise: "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ And you shall be saved And all Your household." Lord, may I enlarge my house So there's a room for not only Dad and Tom But also Paula's room and Ed's and John's And many numbers more. I would to build a mansion For my "household" to be saved By my loving faithful Lord Jesus. I pray. I hope. I trust. I cling. I BELIEVE!!! Thank You, Father.
