Gravitational Pull
by PamFord Davis Are you fascinated with feats of magic or slight of hand tricks? Most demonstrations are difficult to understand; but do have simple explanations. We know intellectually that a slender woman in a box is not sawed in two parts; yet our eyes view the illusion as reality. People do not disappear in thin air; but where do they go? We are left very confused. The subject of levitation is another issue that presents more questions than answers. I believe some wonders have wicked forces behind them; and we are urged to flee from all forms of evil. As believers in Christ we are given a higher form of levitation. The Earth's gravitational pull of selfishness can not keep us down. "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory (Colossians 3:1-4 NKJ)." Keep looking up. Our minds will rise in the presence of God's glory.
