P. S. I Love You
by PamFord Davis

Letter writing is fast fading away. We once eagerly awaited the mail in hopes of receiving letters from family and friends; now we check our email box or cell phone text messages. I love the speed of current technology, but it will never replace the excitement of tearing open the letters from a sweetheart, or news from those far away.

My mother believed in communication by mail and faithfully wrote letters to family and friends. Letters from Mom were detailed and personal; I have tucked a few away for future generations. Readers, long after her death can meet her through past correspondence.

"Finally, brothers, rejoice. Be restored, be encouraged, be of the same mind, be at peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints greet you. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you (2 Corinthians 13:11-13 HCS)." Paul closed his letter with encouraging words; that works in any form of communication.
