Bickering in the Brood
by PamFord Davis

Mothers hate bickering in their brood; the sound of raised voices and verbal ping-pong puts mom on high alert. There is trouble in the ranks and she must find the cause and restore peace through mediation. Angry boys note her arrival; they are talking at the same time, passing the blame, seeking justice and declaring their innocence. As referee, she terminates the table-tennis taunts.

"To conclude: you must all have the same attitude and the same feelings; love one another as brothers, and be kind and humble with one another. Do not pay back evil with evil or cursing with cursing, instead pay back with a blessing, because a blessing is what God promised to give you when he called you (1 Peter 3:8-9 TEV)." Shake hands, admit you are wrong and pursue peace.
