TUI India appoints Raja Natesan as the Chief Operating Officer
by New Delhi, February 23, 2012: TUI Travel India, a part of TUI Travel PLC - world's leading International Leisure Travel Group, announces the appointment of Raja Natesan as Chief Operating Officer. As the COO Raja would be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive growth and optimize operational efficiency and profitability of the company in the country. Speaking on the appointment, Arjun Sharma, MD, Le Passage to India said, "Raja brings in immense industry expertise and a strong track record of delivering growth and profitability. Under his capable leadership we will further scale up operations in India and strengthen our brand presence." Raja Natesan is a travel industry veteran with over 20 years of travel experience. Prior to joining TUI, Raja was the COO at Yatra.com. In the past, he has held numerous leadership roles and built a distinguished track record of handling many travel technology companies. He has served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Interglobe Technology Quotient, President and CEO of Galileo India Pvt. Ltd., and was also the Regional Manager South East Asia at Kingfisher Airlines. "The travel industry in India is at an exciting growth phase.
