Show Me!
by PamFord Davis Some people fall for anything, are trusting to a fault. Others are so skeptical they fall in the category of paranoia, seeing deception behind every claim and evil intent as the motivation of those who try to convince them. I would guess we have a mixture of both trust and trepidation in our emotional make up. People daily move in and out of the "show me state." I delight in the confidence of David; he trusted his Lord to show him the way "You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11 Amplified Version)." Am I teachable? Will I wait for the Lord to show me which way to go? Joy awaits those who trust Him!
